We’re evolving. Bitomni is transitioning from a BTCFi-driven omnichain protocol to a Modular Protocol for Chain Abstraction, Enhanced by AI Agents, and we’d like to share why this shift is such a positive step forward. The blockchain world is moving beyond isolated networks. Users don’t want to hassle with switching chains, holding multiple tokens for gas fees, or navigating fragmented ecosystems. Developers seek faster, more straightforward ways to build applications that tap into multiple networks without wrestling with their underlying complexities. Bitomni’s evolved direction focuses on making that seamless, intuitive, and accessible. Why chain abstraction? Because it’s the key to turning multi-chain complexity into something invisible. Rather than asking users and developers to understand each chain’s quirks, we’re creating a unified experience where multiple blockchains behave like different “features” of the same platform. This drastically reduces friction, lowers the barrier to entry, and brings us closer to mainstream adoption. By standardizing how we interact with various chains, developers can build faster, and users can engage more confidently. Our evolution doesn’t mean discarding what made us strong. The omnichain foundations that enabled us to integrate BTCFi use cases are now fueling our chain abstraction vision. We’ll be leveraging that expertise to deliver a platform that is more flexible, future-proof, and better aligned with the market’s growing demand for interoperability and simplicity. Instead of providing a single, monolithic solution, we offer a set of plug-and-play modules—AI agents, interoperability, universal accounts solutions, and more. Rather than expecting users to learn complex processes or navigate technical dashboards, AI can automatically interpret their requests—like “Find me the best yield opportunities” or “Swap my assets with the lowest fees”—and orchestrate the underlying chain operations. Users essentially talk to an assistant, while Bitomni’s abstraction layer handles the complicated stuff behind the scenes. The result?
