Me last week outside the old Finsbury Park Rainbow — I loved that place.
Saw great bands there in the late 70s incl Clash, Jam, Ramones, Buzzcocks, Joy Division.
This Saturday we celebrate London’s Lost Music Venues.

Today is the 6th anniversary of music titan Andrew (Weatherall’s) sad passing.
Much missed, his & Terry’s edition of My London was a personal fave of mine out of all the ones we ever recorded & I know of a lot of you too.

This classic and The Jam’s debut album In The City turned this lads life upside down in 1977.
Rarely off my red Dansette player that year, its vigour and imagery totally energised me. Life was never the same after.

My driver told me yesterday that the car in front was a robotaxi just launched to test the roads around London. I felt a bit freaked out tbh, like when you know something will happen probably but not for ages yet. What’s your thoughts on them ?
