Just finished "The Bottoms" by Joe R. Lansdale. So good... and yet so uncomfortable to read

Haunting of Hill House is the literary equivalent of drinking a fine wine! Every word perfectly chosen. Elenor's descent into mental illness is exquisitely portrayed and incredibly disturbing to read. Mrs. Montague needs to be considered one of the great villains of all time.

This week’s reading: “The People vs. Frankenstein”

Finished Legion - the basis of the movie Exorcist III which was also directed by author Blatty. This one was a bit of a tough read, but picked up at the end.

Reading “Later” by Stephen King. I love this book. This premise and these characters are so familiar and King-Esque it’s the literary equivalent of putting on your favorite pair of comfy jeans

Finished Stephen King’s “Duma Key”. Great character drama/“ghost” story. It’s as if The Dead Zone and It had a love child.

How has Stephen King’s Duma Key not been turned into a 4 hour series on Netflix or Hulu yet? #horror

Mia Goth's performance in Pearl is Oscar worthy. I have not had as much sympathy for a dark soul since Anthony Perkin's portrayal of Norman Bates in Psycho (which was clearly an influence on this film as well). Hope she gets recognized. #horror
