Can we just accept in this 2020? That when someone is shut down for being gross, manipulative, abusive, racist, ableist, etc etc that they _don't_ need a redemption arc?? Like maybe, they can just go away and do other things. We don't have to forgive them or welcome them back???

After the lengthy discussions on the behaviour of Oz Mills recently. I want to share this. Performative contrition, saying the things the audience wants to hear, forcing the victim to feel bad for being the aggressor... this is toxic and it needs to be called out.

@PrettyIdeal @ozmills He's a very active moderator on some forums in the LARP community online, and on Facebook. It's well known this behaviour is mirrored there. Pretty sad to see that it's not just limited to our community. Much love, and stay strong friend. :)

@PraxisDescends @PrettyIdeal @ozmills It stinks of 'let me go and look up all the shit stuff I've said so I can damage control', and ultimately, I doubt it'll result in more than a quiet period, maybe an apology and then a continuation of the same behaviour. Because that's the prevailing theme here. Seen it before.
