@WingZeroHeroYuy @DbsHype He likely cannot for a couple reasons. 1) Vegeta himself is not able to transform into it in series. He says in GT that only Gokū can, and that makes him weird. But they're inconsistent with this, though, as Cell's Developed Form and Super Developed Form are (1/2)

@BlackStorm97 @Venixys Not really. For sh Kubota and all the staff were very rushed and that had a long production time. The reason is that the movie still needs 2d corrections in every shot and supervision like any other production. It just has a way smaller team

This info comes from Toei’s Fiscal Year report from last year, as I reported in this post: x.com/i/status/19232… The new one with the latest updates will be out in a few days. One of those two movies is the Precure film (as an existing global IP) which will be released in fiscal year 2027 (September 2026), and I'm not sure if there's another one right now. As stated in that document, there are 14 existing global IPs, so even if we need to keep a close eye on them, it doesn't automatically mean it's Dragon Ball or One Piece. As for Dragon Ball, we're already packed, so rule it out for now.

@Venixys @gogeta99885 @LowTierSukuna I've seen people speculate that the 40th Anniversary Special Video was mistaken as a new DB movie by the leakers. Did any of the French sources confirm that it wasn't the case?

I am sharing the reply I gave you in private so that everyone can read my thoughts on it: I know, but a movie being in production is old news, it's been rumored for years. I also heard the rumor from them about a 3D movie in the works, but to me, it's just a hypothesis that turned into a leak among the French. Simply because there was already a movie rumor, plus they already have the 3D assets ready from Super Hero and the latest series released was Daima, so there you go, the Daima Movie! I honestly don't buy it. Besides, the next few years will be super packed for the series, and squeezing in a movie is really hard. It's likely they have a movie in mind, I'm not saying they don't, but I don't think we'll see it anytime soon (even though Iyoku had said he wanted a movie every 4 years, but I think plans have changed since it was supposed to come out this year and obviously it can't). The only window it could come out is between the remastered and Moro, since there might be a gap, but I doubt it. I don't doubt the good faith of Sofian and many of my French friends who told me about it, but right now I just don't believe it. A new movie will definitely come out in the future, I don't doubt that, and it's completely normal that they are already thinking about it. It's also possible that it will be in 3D, but I just don't see it happening in the short term. If they do announce it, I'll be the first to say 'they were right,' and if I find out more, and above all, if I'm allowed to say it, I will let you know, but in the short term, I don't see it being possible (unless someone decides to let me talk to someone directly working on the movie 😂).

@coffecoffeKL @Venixys I knew the people you mentioned were involved but I have no idea how much of their time was spent on the movie. If a DB movie was coming out in 2027 wouldn't most of the 2D work be done already?

@BlackStorm97 @Venixys Even if it's cg it needs a 2d core staff. For Super hero for example Shintani, Kubota, Naotoshi Shida, Yuya Takahashi and many other sfx animators were very involved in the production

Un incohérence qui pourrait et devrait être corrigée dans le Remaster de #DragonBallSuper Beerus: Dés le départ, la couleur de cheveux de KID TRUNKS doit être BLEU! Vous avez bien lu. Toriyama avait déjà donné cette couleur au personnage dans les chara-design de Battle of Gods!
