@aidanisod @DragoonC89 what are you talking about? he's supposed to look like a jedi who happens to be a hermit. the jedi look the way they do in the prequels because of the way they look in the originals as we see with obi-wan, yoda and luke (and anakin's spirit)

@phyvonen You are correct. Production design, clothing and lighting leaned toward green in the matrix scenes. No digital color grading or DI in post. Purely photochemical lab timing processes.

The original trailer for THE MATRIX (1999) and the theatrical film prints were much less green than the DVDs and the Blu-rays. Cinematographer Bill Pope: "The original timing was much more subtle." Here's a 35mm film scan of the first trailer⬇️

They were simply deceived. But that has nothing to do with their teachings and ways, which are taught to Luke & proven to be right.

Luke in the George Lucas continuity: happily married, has a kid, leader of the stronger version of the Jedi Order, and loved, feared, and respected through the galaxy. Luke in the Disney continuity: a failure who lives alone on a deserted island after attempting to murder his nephew because of a bad dream. And he ends up ODing on the force because apparently force-based long distance communication can kill you now.

The Sith Lord used the dark side of the Force to cloud their vision (also established in the movie). But you've not paid attention to the movies, hence why you've reached so many wrong conclusions.

@most_dc @BKIsigq @CWilson2197 The Jedi are trusted with children to develop their talent to become Jedi and live to help others. If you think that's wrong, that's on you. The clone army belongs to the Republic, not the Jedi. The Jedi, like the clones, serve the Republic. This is in the movies.
