The ceasefire in Iran is welcome, and we support it. But it also brings a clear lesson.
Energy security matters, and it needs clear-eyed, rational policy that protects our national interest.
If stable oil and gas flows matter globally, they matter at home too. Most of the gas used domestically comes from the North Sea, but Ed Miliband is working to shut down the North Sea. Labour would rather leave billions of barrels of oil and gas under the sea bed, than compromise on their Net Zero ideology.
Drilling the North Sea boosts our exports, supports British production and sustains jobs. It would bring in new revenue that Conservatives would use to bring down bills - saving a family £200.
The lesson is obvious. Back our own energy and support new North Sea licences. Scrap the Energy Profits Levy and get Britain drilling. That is the Conservative plan to get Britain working again.

Using children as human shields is a war crime. Full stop. The Islamic Republic of Iran is not just recruiting 12 year olds to die as child soldiers, they are now forcing children to stand in front of targets in Iran to “save” them!
Under international law, this is a grave breach. It triggers criminal liability. There is no gray area here. A regime that turns children into shields is not protecting its people. It is sacrificing them.
We have seen this before. During the Iran–Iraq War, children were sent across minefields as human mine finders, given “keys to heaven” and told martyrdom was their destiny.
This is the problem of Islamist ideology. It glorifies martyrdom and weaponizes children. It is the same dynamic I documented in Jenin in my film The Making of a Martyr. It is the same in Iran today.
This is what they export. Child abuse and murder.

🚨 A growing number of countries are demanding reparations from Britain.
These countries ignore the fact that Britain made huge sacrifices to be the first major power to outlaw slavery and enforce this prohibition.
Of the countries demanding reparations, Tory and Labour governments issued 3.8 million visas to their nationals and sent them a staggering £6.6 billion in foreign aid over the last 2 decades.
Enough is enough.
We are putting these countries on notice.
From this point, should any country formally demand reparations from Britain, a Reform government will respond by immediately halting the issuance of new visas to their nationals.

The Australian government just arrested our most decorated veteran from the Afghanistan War for alleged war crimes. Ben Roberts-Smith was awarded the Victoria Cross for Australia after singlehandedly storming two Taliban machine gun positions by himself in order to save his own SAS team. And this is how we repay him. I spoke to an Australian Afghan war veteran who told me that the Australian government literally paid for billboards in Afghanistan offering to pay random Afghans to come forward with war crime allegations. What country on Earth would do this to itself? Tell me: When does the Taliban plan on holding war crimes tribunals into their own people? When do the Taliban plan on holding themselves accountable for terrorism? Absolutely retarded to purge your own men when fighting a brutal barbaric enemy that respects no rules whatsoever.
