"I hope Jonathan Kuminga goes off for one night, and gets the last laugh. And I hope it's tonight." - Dan Devone is hoping for a STRONG performance from Kuminga tonight as the Warriors face off against the Hawks at 5pm on 95.7 the Game (via Warriors this Week).

@CurryorNothing @jrichardgoodman Myers wanted to trade Green after the punch and got shot down … why he left because he couldnt do his job … Kerr and lacob wouldn’t treat the real cancer on the team and now it’s terminal
English

@jrichardgoodman Myers is a huge part of the reason why they're in the mess today!
Nobody gives up $9m/yr for nothing.
Myers pulled the pin and left the grenade in Dunlevey's hands. Dunlevey seems to be telling Lacob "give me a clean slate starting 2027, I want clean books".

🚨 THE CALIFORNIA GREEN WIDOW STORY....
In late 1988, Robert "Bob" Samuels, a 40-year-old Hollywood camera operator's assistant who worked on films like Lethal Weapon and Beverly Hills Cop II, was in the midst of a bitter divorce from his wife, Mary Ellen Samuels.
Unhappy and facing limited financial gain from a settlement, Mary Ellen targeted Bob's $500,000 life insurance policy. On December 8 or 9, 1988, Bob was found shot in the head with a shotgun in his Northridge, California home.
Mary Ellen "discovered" the body and called the police, appearing composed rather than distraught. Investigators uncovered that Mary Ellen had openly solicited Bob's murder for months, involving her teenage daughter Nicole, who faced no charges, and drug dealer James "Jimmy" Bernstein (27).
Bernstein recruited two accomplices, Darrell Ray Edwards and Paul Gaul, who carried out the killing. After collecting the insurance money, Mary Ellen, nicknamed the "Green Widow" for her rapid, extravagant spending on drugs, parties, strippers, luxury items, and vacations, blew through nearly $500,000 in under a year.
An infamous Polaroid photo showed her posing nude amid roughly $20,000 in cash during a Cancun trip, later seized as damning evidence of her greed and lack of remorse.
Fearing Bernstein might confess or implicate her, Mary Ellen arranged his murder in June 1989. He was strangled, with an attempt to decapitate and discard the body.
Police linked the crimes through witness statements, confessions from Edwards and Gaul, who pleaded to lesser charges, testified against her, and were later paroled, and the incriminating photo found in a 1990 home search.
Mary Ellen's trial began in 1994. Prosecutors painted her as a cunning, predatory woman driven by financial gain. On July 1, 1994, a jury convicted her of two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances of multiple murders and murder for financial gain, plus conspiracy and solicitation.
They recommended death; she was sentenced accordingly in September 1994. After years of appeals, including a California Supreme Court affirmation in 2005, her death sentence was vacated. In March 2023, she was resentenced to life without parole.
Now 78 and a great-grandmother, Mary Ellen remains at Central California Women's Facility. In early 2026 filings, she sought relief, claiming her trial was tainted by prosecutorial "sex-shaming" focused on her lifestyle and the provocative photo rather than evidence alone.
