BodySlam reported that WWE wanted Rey Mysterio to face Gunther at WrestleMania, and Triple H has a track record of booking legends to retire by losing to Gunther in WWE. So, it seems like Rey Mysterio has taken an injury break to not just recover but also avoid any possibility of getting his WWE Career ended at the hands of Gunther. Makes sense. The only person who deserves to retire Rey Mysterio is his son Dominik Mysterio. If I was Rey, I'd probably do the same thing.
