@Yugiman101 I love when people don't play the game they post about. Blue Eyes got meta support and is still playable although getting old. DM got support that makes it splashable and is getting MORE support that is meta. Konami just hates Joey/Red-Eyes

@MBTYuGiOh Is it wrong to say that with modern card design and how long this card has been limited, it's time has come and gone? I genuinely don't know what Sekka's Light would work in whenever it does get unlimited as nothing has really been developed with this card in mind

@SkarlonYGO In all honesty, only some of the current meta decks need a slap on the wrist, otherwise do too much and it's Kewl Tune dominance. And obviously killing off more floodgates. The hardest thing to deal with is just the Yummy slop decks if they don't want to kill Yummy outright

Genuinely don't get why people are so desperately asking where the next banlist is when its only been 2 months since the last one. Like you know even if we get one it'll be another 3 floodgates to 0 and thats it right?

@MBTYuGiOh The fact that these two get to run around free (Mainly D Fissure) even though they were limited for so long, especially now with how important the GY is for alot of decks. (You can add in Shifter too)

No, nobody likes it. There are content creators and vendors who like it because of the money and limited prestige, but I'm pretty sure anyone who once liked Yugioh, doesn't like having to build their deck with 80% handtraps just so you can find a way to stop your opponent playing

Yugioh keeps growing and staying alive, even through its worst formats, shouldn't that clue you in that the complexity of the game is what keeps it thriving. We're just going to reiterate the same point, Yugioh needs a god send of a tutorial to actually teach someone how to play

@Rhymestyle Prove me wrong guy. Ive played it for 300 hrs. In ranked, when I go first, all hand traps. When I go second, a perfect going first hand with a handtrap during draw phase. Do not waste ur time with this simulator!

@ForTheWinTCG The game is extremely fun and good but you have to fight an upward battle to really see that especially when many people just know the anime. Master Duel really needs to just revamp the new player experience to help more people get into the game we all enjoy and love

@ForTheWinTCG We're just watching someone experience the worst part of Yugioh, the new player experience. We keep running into this every time someone tries to get into the game, they have to spend a lot of time to research and learn what's good and how to actually play yugioh

Imagine expecting a new player of a game to know the meta. I've seen a few too many takes like this on my post. This is self-destructive behaviour if you want people to get into a game you like.

@ForTheWinTCG This is one of the unfortunate parts of Master Duel specifically, you're gonna run into some high roll decks that you may just not open a good hand against. This isn't the norm especially now with the current meta

@DistantCoder The problem with the video is that he does have some good critiques of the game but most of the video is just a weird boomer-ish complaints of the extra deck summoning types and lack of actual mana? He talks about trap cards for like 5 minutes total

I haven't watched the video nor do I think I need to. If I had to guess, the take here is trap cards no longer serve the purpose of being a thing you fill 1/3rd of your deck with that your opponent has to tiptoe around or risk being punished if they play into them. "You've activated my trap card" kind of thing. Instead trap cards have become one of two things: 1. A card you can activate from hand, defeating the original purpose of trap cards 2. A 1-of that you search within a combo (usually a generic omni-negate) that your opponent knows is there because it's the only trap card you play in your deck, also defeating the original purpose of trap cards being a surprise. How close am I? (for the record, if these are the points brought up, I agree with them)

Watching the first 1st episode of different anime until I let chat pick one for me. Stein's Gate - What I appreciated the most about this is that it doesn't just overexplain everything with constant exposition. It feels mysterious and engaging and a great ep1 cliffhanger.

@MBTYuGiOh Obviously it still is a trap deck with set 5 pass, but beyond that, Paleo/PaleoFrog plays an extremely long game, dragging out the game until you can get enough resources to out resource your opponent and win the game. Extremely skill testing as well as you have to properly stall
