@kosullivan2012 @AdamFreemanPask I think "club kit" is a huge problem for inclusivity, eg richee kids would get 1 or 2 of every item available, poorer kids get just the race AIO and then wear to every training session etc... First thing that needs relaxing is Rules of Racing or rather its application re kit...

I wonder what the rowing community thinks about inclusive sportswear. When I started rowing at 14 years old, at a state school, wearing lycra wasn't something I was keen on doing. I remember wearing shorts over the top for the first couple of years.

@kosullivan2012 @AdamFreemanPask Then clubs need to address their own approach to inclusivity and tolerance of differences and how this equates to application of club clothing policies... Not just cultural but also neurodivergence... Eg often "kit violations" were an indicator of a safeguarding issue..

@WillHayCardiff With you on the Welsh omission and equally don't understand why Ireland still gets a look in.. Surely there's a more representative symbol for Northern Ireland but then that really is a troubled history... And if we are having Ireland, why not restate the claim on France too 🤔
