Hard to fully say if this was just a creative choice by the anime or if Oda was involved, but the anime would suggest that this could be the division of the worlds in the Harley mural. The division on the right was generally what was mostly agreed on, with the contention some debated being on if the left side represented the war of the Void Century, the hypothetical war of the future, or both as a dual analogy. This seems to suggest the former that it's the war of the Second World, but a dual analogy where there are parallels where each of the figures matches a future character could still makes sense, even if it may be just in a narrative way 🤔
