this is what annoys me with the 'aang forced his culture onto her'. in reality aang integrated into katara's culture. and that's so beautiful because you almost never see a guy do it for a girl. and unlike assimilation, he still preserved and kept core values of his culture

It’s still painful that Treasure Planet 2 never happened. The sequel had already reached the storyboard stage, Willem Dafoe was set to voice the villain, and recording was close to beginning before Disney pulled the plug. One of biggest “what ifs.”

idm him fighting her back as much as i do him withholding himself here because yeah, thats an aang thing to do but thats what he does in the final battle with ozai… his mercy held significance in the finale but now, it will fall flat cause they already used it here with azula.
