Yeah, it seems so. Ironically she challenges me to provide proof, but then immediately blocks me. Seems like an underhanded way to get the truth out, to the world it appears that she challenges and i back down... it seems to me that if she truely cared about truth and her cause, she would hear what i have to say and promote discussion. Any way I'm not worried about it. As your a member, you get a follow!

@AmyMek @BladeworksDg Yeah DG, didn't you know... Mis Amy is high on the charts, a queen of her stage, accomplished, etc., etc., but one of the most ignorant when it comes to the Lord's Church, or His Gospel, and then she doubles down with "do you know who I am" attitude. The Lord's paying attentio

I am in what is parhaps the most trying situation of my life. While I can't go into details, I can say that this "situation" brought me back out of inactivity, and as I'm now active, I pay tithing. I don't do it because I expect to always have money through inadvertent blessings. I do it because I have been commanded to, and I have covenented to be obedient to this principle. I can say that I have been blessed for doing this - at times temporarily, and other times spiritually. I highly recommend obedience to this commandment, and testify that the lord takes care of those who keep their covenants!

For 6 months I wasn’t paying tithing because I felt like we weren’t making ends meet. Then, after hearing someone bear their testimony about it in Relief Society, I decided to give it another try. After just two tithing offerings, demand for my business picked up out of nowhere. It’s so overwhelming. I’ve had to raise my prices.
stacker@stackerco

I don’t see how a story about selling your car just to pay tithing can be framed as anything but troubling.

On the positive side, it does require us to be more reliant on home centered church. Which I believe is the ultimate goal.

@Critertarian @seanryanlayton I did respond: there is no evidence as you claim. All AI and archeology is simply wrong is your claim? 🤣

God specifically commanded Nephi not to include secular histories of wars and kings. Nephi was instead commanded to record a spiritual record upon the small plates. The Book of Mormon is meant to be a test of faith and righteousness, not of worldly pursuits and physical evidence. It has enough of those things as it is.
Samurai@Samuraijrussell

If the LDS Church has billions of dollars, claims to be led by revelation, and insists the Book of Mormon is a historical record, why hasn’t it funded a comprehensive archaeological project to prove it? Surely any credible findings would bolster its membership growth/legitimacy.

I'm with you on this one. "No more Muslims" - there can be no law against ones beliefs "No more criminals" - we already have laws for them, just need to enforce them "No more Marxists" - there can be no law against ones beliefs Most Muslims are good people who should have the right to practiced their religion as they see fit. I may not agree with all that they believe, but that's why I'm not Muslim. A clear distinction needs to be made between Muslims and radical Islam. We cannot be punishing a whole religious group simply because of a few with bad intentions are in play. That takes us no where good

@LukeFHan I think the best thing we can do is to forgive, wish them well, then choose to not support them. Two things can need true. Forgiveness does not mean sticking around for more abuse

We shouldn't get mad at Matt Fradd for this. Before you grab the pitchforks hear me out. Matt Fradd isn't the one doing this. His Daily Wire production team is the one that picked the Godmakers clips, edited the video, and put it out on Matts page. They are the main culprits.

Some of you all will be VERY shocked to find many Muslims you so vehemently fought against exalted with Christ in His Kingdoms forever. And you will similarly be very shocked to find many you believed to be righteous thrust out to outer darkness. Choose love over hate.
Eric Daugherty@EricLDaugh

🚨 UPDATE: Muslims are setting their sights on Utah, trying to TAKE IT OVER IMAM: "A lot of people have no idea about Utah. It's not on the map. It's a well-kept secret." This CAN'T be allowed to happen! This is why we need a 3rd world migration ban.

@jonathanplumb There is a huge movment to do this, but I'm not surprised to see this among us. We must love our neighbors regardless of religon... even Muslims.

If you can’t see the current operation to pit Latter-day Saints against Islam — You will become a casualty of war. We love Muslims. We love Catholics. We love Protestants. We love you all. We might not love your doctrines, but we love you, and want you to be able to live your life according to the desires of your heart, even if that means you cling to what we consider abominable teachings. Do not feed the trolls.

Hey @LDS_Dems, this is an important argument - and I think you are right to make it. The country is quickly polarizing, and has been for years. Things are quickly becoming less and less about what is right and wrong. I'm amazed at how so many of us are losing our bearings on what the teachings of Christ mean, and being replaced by popular narratives. Only a few years ago we would have opened our selves to other faiths and idiologies with love... perhaps with a missionary spirit, but with love none the less. The adversary is really good at taking one point of truth and refraiming that truth into some thing insidious. For example, we SHOULD NOT pull the hand of fellowship from Muslims simply because some Muslim terrorist factions exist, and behave poorly. The book of Mormon clearly teaches that there should not be a law against a man's beliefs. Further, when the nephites grew wicked they first stopped loving their neighbor's and started persecution against those not of their religion.

For some members of the LDS Church, the most difficult commandment to follow is the one we carve onto every building: "visitors welcome" That includes Muslims in need of a temporary place to worship. That includes members of the LGBTQ community seeking to come closer to Christ

@BladeworksDg @AmyMek And then Isaiah taught, that the Spirit speaks so soft, but your "Hear Him" loud 💪👍 I was counseled, that if I studied all the Principles in Isaiah, applied them, lived them, and made them a part of "who I am", then all of the wounds of this world would be removed, IT WORKED

I'm trying to follow the spirit, I worry I don't always understand when he is speaking to me. I agree that he protects us, though i was say he doesn't shield us completely. My trial deals with evil, both my own... and what has been done to me. I don't have issues generally sharing my story, except in public forums like this one. It's of the nature, that if I share it publicly it can complicate my life dramatically. I've shared before to others in DM's. One day I'll be able to say it out loud, and for all... but I'm not there just yet. If you wanna hear it it has to be private, otherwise I will share it publicly one day, when the danger has past.

@BladeworksDg @AmyMek You're following the Spirit 😉 something many aren't doing. You stay with the Saviors guidance. Im a witness to His solid protection from the Evil that surrounds me, when we're on the covenant path. One day, I hope to hear more of your story 😊😇

@jonathanplumb True, though we must not allow tolerance to go to far. Example: tolerating an enemy trying to take your life, or a person trying to harm a child goes to far. We must love all of God's children, but we must first love the lord our God first.

I think it's understand your position, and if i do, I agree. We are taught to not hate the children of God regardless of religion. Further we learn from the scriptures that laws should not be passed to control thought. For us to try to do anything else would be following satans plan when he true to destroy the agency of man.

This is our heritage. If instead the things we think and say about Hindus, Muslims, or others sound more like the baying of the mobs in Missouri or the hate- and lie-filled anti-'Mormonism' that helped fuel the attack on our chapel in Michigan, then we have turned aside.

Too many Saints have replaced our doctrine with trendy political positions. Joseph Smith helped create this law in March 1841. It grants toleration to 'Mohamedans' [Muslims] and bans 'ridiculing, abusing, or otherwise depreciating another, in consequence of his religion'.
