My brother unexpectedly passed away this morning. He was a huge Giants fan & would always remind me he was rooting for them longer than I have, lol. Jokes and stories were his specialty. He would always tell me he wanted to be cremated and sprinkled around Giants' stadium field, but he didn't trust the fact that I might leave him at the tailgate in the parking lot. Until we get to root for the Giants together again, I'll miss you, brother.

This usually means the team loses a lot of those games, but the detractors of the quarterback get plenty of wins on social media. I like my wins in the standings. So If things seem to have taken a step back for this offense, it's because they have. The amount of pressures that Jones is seeing has now translated to a non-existent offense, minus two of the twelve quarters they've played. At a rounded off 47%, Daniel Jones is far above the most pressured QB in the NFL. Below is the pressure he faced in every season. 2023: 47% 2022: 42% 2021: 42% 2020: 40% 2019: 34% In 2022 the league average was 34%. The Giants are currently ranked 31st in the NFL in pass-blocking. They will take on the 11th ranked pass-rush (Seattle Seahawks) this coming Monday night. This is shaping up to be a massive game for the Giants. With the G-Men having three straight tough games starting on Monday, it is critical the Giants take this win at home and ride that wave into Miami and Buffalo, before the start of three winnable games. The offensive line is one of many areas on the field that must elevate their play on Monday night. No Giant is exonerated from poor play this far into the season. That includes Daniel Jones. There is no question this lack of protection is hindering this offense, but in a game of inches where every play counts, this offense can not afford to miss out on making big plays to extend a drive and spark some much needed momentum.
