Pray with me June 1, 2026 Heavenly Father, I come before You today with gratitude in my heart, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. You are the God of abundance, mercy, and grace. You are the One who opens doors no man can shut and makes a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, I ask for Your favor to rest upon my life. As You were with Joseph and caused everything he touched to prosper, let Your hand be upon me. As You gave favor to Esther before the king, grant me favor with those I encounter. As You blessed David and established his steps, establish my path according to Your purposes. Father, bless the work of my hands. Give me wisdom beyond my own understanding, discernment beyond my experience, and opportunities that only You can provide. Let me walk in integrity, humility, and faithfulness so that Your blessing does not simply increase my comfort, but expands my usefulness for Your Kingdom. Open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Protect me from distractions, deception, and anything that would pull me away from Your will. Let Your favor surround me as with a shield. Bring divine connections, divine provision, and divine appointments into my life. May Your goodness go before me and Your mercy follow behind me. I pray for blessing over my family, my home, my relationships, and every responsibility You have entrusted to me. Let peace reign where there has been anxiety, hope where there has been discouragement, and strength where there has been weakness. Most of all, Lord, let Your presence be my greatest blessing. If I have Your presence, I have everything I truly need. Teach me to seek Your face more than Your hand, Your will more than my own desires, and Your Kingdom above all else. I receive Your promises with faith, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I can ask or imagine. May my life bring honor to Jesus Christ, and may every blessing become a testimony of Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen

Man loses $45,000 scholarship in his senior year of university after AI flags his thesis as "98% probably AI generated," despite having his ENTIRE THESIS written history in a Google Docs because "our (AI) AI-detector never makes mistakes," and now his entire life is ruined. This is why AI is such a massive failure (Dotcom Bubble 2.0), too many ignorant boomers/useless middle managers and "tech bro" types who have NO IDEA what AI even is (much less generalized LLMs) and keep implementing AI in STUPID ways that will bite them in the ass (billions in damages). FYI "AI detectors" are notoriously SH*T and flag stuff as "AI" simply for being grammatically correct or having correct spelling etc. So not only is AI replacing, destroying the environment w/ Data Centers (and causing infrasound), not only is AI replacing jobs (that the AI should NOT be doing) (Generalized LLMs are not meant for this) now you can have your entire academic degree/career revoked and destroyed because some AI software told some BOOMER that "you totally faked this paper" again, WHEN HE HAS THE ENTIRE PROOF THAT HE WROTE IT, IN HIS GOOGLE DOCUMENTS AND EDITING HISTORY. AI has massive potential to do good in the world. The problem is its being implemented by absolute morons who believe anything ChatGPT or Claude tells them—welcome to the future nightmare dystopia.

Do YOU know the history of milk? It never really goes "bad" - it just changes (unless it's killed by pasteurization..in which case it sours, molds and dies) Ever heard of sour cream? Clabber? Farmer cheese? And yes, the place where I buy is probably more heavily regulated and inspected than the average dairy.

@BleatingSheep1 @SamaHoole Raw milk won't last as long as pasteurized milk. Do you know the history of the milk? When was it collected and put in the tank? When was it collected from the tank? Do you know the dairy? Is it kept clean? was the container clean?

Alcohol and tobacco are available on every street corner. Cigarettes proven to cause cancer. Alcohol proven to destroy the liver, the brain, the marriage, and the careful plans of an entire weekend. Both legal. Both taxed. Both stocked at the petrol station. Raw milk, on the other hand, sold by a farmer three miles down the road from a cow that has a name, must apparently be regulated as a public health threat. The petrol station sells nicotine pouches, vodka, energy drinks containing seven grams of taurine and a kilogram of sugar, and an entire wall of ultra-processed snacks designed by chemists. The farm gate down the lane sells a glass of milk. The same milk humans have been drinking for ten thousand years. The petrol station is fine. The farm gate is the problem. You can decide which of these your government is actually trying to protect you from.

@SamaHoole The downside of raw milk is its shelf life. But it should not be illegal to buy fresh milk from a farm. But then the farm shares in the risk of selling bad milk. I drank our raw milk for over 10 years.

@Nutmegbunny9 We did a half birthday friend party once for our twins born in January so they could use the pool. They did not get another party on their actual birthday.

I don’t believe in doing half birthdays. My daughter wants to have a half birthday party for my granddaughter in July with a party, presents and a cake and then do it all again on December 22 which is her real birthday. Why? Because she feels sad that she has to share her birthday with Jesus. She needs her “own” time. I literally did not respond and kept my face in a neutral. Inside I was about to explode 🤯 I need to put my thoughts together and have a sit down talk with my daughter because she’s already planning the party. 🎉

@WallStreetApes It’s about damned time customers understood the “convenience” fees associated with every card transaction. Businesses pay out millions annually to credit card companies that charge anywhere from 1.5% to more than 3% per transaction.

Target locations are beginning to charge customers the “merchant fee” on every item they purchase This is the cost of credit and debit card processing fees Big box retails like Target have paid these fees in the past but has decided to now pass the cost onto the customer There was a major legal change with the ‘2025 Visa Mastercard interchange fee antitrust settlement with merchants’ This settlement gave retailers more legal leeway to stop fully absorbing fees and start passing some costs to card users American keep getting robbed blind

@HeartlandPostWI I'm old enough to remember the left melting down last week over Tina Peters, a 70yo woman, who had her sentence commuted from 9 yrs (effectively life) to 4.5 years by Gov. Polis, but this week will push for an acquittal of former Judge Hannah Dugan for obstruction of federal law.

We've all been there. Do you have a vehicle? Even if the park is close, it might pay to drive. I kept a kiddie potty in my car lined with a plastic bag and a disposable diaper inside for quick and easy cleanup. No matter how much we tried to get the littles "emptied out" before we went places (we have twins), one of them always had to go immediately upon arrival of our destination. Urges come up quickly, so having a potty close by can help during those first ventures out

I am potty training my son. He has been doing very good, we have been home the last week and he has been consistently using the toilet so I decided well let’s venture out to the playground. Tell me why he decided to poop his pants go down the slide right after, his sister and his other brother all go after him, and so now the entire length of the slide is covered in poop, so is he and so are his siblings. Poop everywhere. we all walk back home covered in poop A swarm of flies on our tail

Industrial Waste In chapter 4 of "The War on Men" by @ostrachan he highlights a 14 year old boy who built a gorgeous back yard shed for his mom with no help at all. That boy was our middle son who is now a married successful business owner with his own son due in a few weeks. Strachan also included a quote from my husband who has taught high school and Jr. High English for many years and who loved having his 7th grade boys read "The Iceberg Hermit" which is an epic survival story. One of the assignments he gave with it involved identifying which practical skills the students possessed themselves that they could use to survive and how they would have put it to use if they were in a situation like the main character's. The last time my husband taught that book not a single boy in his class could think of even 1 skill they had that would help them. These were mostly middle/upperclass white kids, athletes, scholars, tech savvy, good, bright kids but who had never built anything, caught or killed or grown anything, cooked anything, fixed anything, or just generally problem solved their way out of anything. So when I see posts of younger generations unable to budget, shop for, and prepare foods I really do sympathize because the utter helplessness when it comes to practical life skills isn't necessarily their fault. They are simply the by-product of generations educated according to a system born of the Industrial Revolution that has failed to keep pace with the rapidly changing socio-economic scene. What they are absorbing for 14+ years of their life is industrial waste. It is for the most part useless. And the worst part is, some of them know it and it leaves them feeling helpless, hopeless, and utterly defeated. Young adults in that situation have to be able to acknowledge they were short changed but then take initiative and ask for help learning some new skills. Even if it's just from Youtube. Parents of students need to deconstruct their kid's education. Think completely outside the box. Start asking why about every single element of their child's education. Make a list of things they actually NEED to know and make those things a priority. Fill in the rest later. Older folks need to show a little patience and compassion. If an entire generation is deficient in some area, the previous generation likely dropped the ball somewhere. It would be glorious to see America's youth get their confidence back.

My daughter was born June of 1990. April was super hot. I had to borrow maternity shorts because I didnt plan for such heat. May 10 we had a major snowstorm. Lost a flowering tree that was fully in bloom. The weight of the snow cracked it right down the middle. Then back to hot. Except the day we brought her home from the hospital. I had to send my hubby for more clothing for the baby because it was so chilly and again, I hadn't prepared for that

My daughter had to cancel her mail delivery for much of last summer. A very assertive Robin mama built a nest right above her mailbox. It's attached to the house, so the carriers gave a walking route in her neighborhood, and they were getting swooped so badly no one wanted to deliver to her house. There were eggs in it last year when she discovered it, so she didn't have the heart to knock it down. This year, mama has tried three times but she and her husbnd are being more proactive in discouraging her in the early stages of building

Mama and daddy bird keep bird bombing me and chattering for me to get off the front walk because it’s too close to their nest. Sooooooo sorry but this is the only spot w shade right now and I’m hot from the yard work. They will just have to deal w it. I think mama may have played a second clutch of eggs. All the grown up babies have flown the coop but they swoop around every now and then

United Airlines is using dynamic pricing This plane ticket says it’s $752. Once you out in the travelers information it says “Based on traveler information provided, the price of your ticket has changed” The price went from $752.20 -> $1,156.20 United see the trackers age was older so automatically drastically increased the ticket price Airlines started holding ‘separate fare buckets’ for different passenger categories. So now for the same seat, you can be sorted into age categories and have your price go up based on what United Airlines says their inventory is for each seat category This is dynamic pricing adjustments It’s only going to get worse if we let this continue
