Our research shows that nepotism is most prevalent in the hiring process. This is the very process that determines the quality of people who will drive the business to success. At the core of nepotism in hiring is self interest. Decisions shift away from merit and towards personal relationships. If you want to run a successful business, fix this first. @ipcconsultants

I have a bro who took a girl on a roadtrip, she had legs on the dashboard, just as they passed one intersection, a Honda Fit cut in front of them.. Emergency brakes couldn’t save the situation, they crashed. Her spine broke, he was unscathed. Maone akatanga. 🙌🏾

Spoke about this on the TikTok yesterday. And as Hopewell says - nobody wants to annihilate Chamisa. It’s why the recorded calls have gone from 20s to 60s. But the call itself is 10+ mins. Chamisa knows the deal he tried to do with Auxillia. A deal that is still in place. It’s his right to make a deal for himself. But as long as he then sends folks to attack people that know the truth and have accepted it and now choose to fight other battles - he invites them to set record straight. I wanted to release it last night but took the counsel of my Mrs not to retaliate to personal battles with things like that. He has got his deal. That’s fine. But he should then not attack or have attacked people doing their best to fight an amendment that will now sail through.
Hopewell Chin’ono@daddyhope

@promisep10 @mawarirej @nelsonchamisa I confirm that. I do not know why these guys are pretending otherwise. It was meant to be private, but when you attack people with lies, they are forced to release evidence to establish the truth. If they continue, more will come.

You have now confirmed, as is contained in the audio, that the negotiations took place and that @nelsonchamisa and @daddyhope were at the centre of them. You have also confirmed that the audio is not an AI creation as purported by some of Chamisa's sycophantic supporters. You have also now confirmed what you have been denying all along, that Chamisa is your source. You did a splendid job there. In fact, you did the Lord's work. It is now clear, Mr Mutebuka, that your guy wanted to use the blind support of Zimbabweans to unscrupulously land himself a position in ED's government. Ndokutengesa ikoko, Save. Anyway, yamataura yedzimba yakanaka, regai tifambire yedzimba dzaChamisa in South Africa, toda mugotivhunzirawo kuti mari akawanepi?
Brighton Mutebuka@BMutebuka

Yes. I have asked Chamisa about that audio. He has addressed it. His response connects Hopewell to Ben Muneri of "Hot Plate" fame, Jealousy Mawarire & Hopewell's ambition to become Harare Mayor via Douglas Mwonzora (at the time in question). Hopewell allegedly stunned ED & his wife by demanding to be a Mayor of Harare for his "services." It will be highlighted how he allegedly sought to achieve this. Now, if this is accurate, if you see CDF & other so-called constitution defence platforms suddenly imploding, it will make sense. You must decide how feasible it is to own homes in Harare, London & Joburg. You must also decide how credible it is to maintain relations across all political figures of note in Zim, Chamisa, Biti, Sikhala, ED, Mai ED, Chigumba, Chiwenga etc. Is it really credible for Hopewell to be blind to Tshabangu's shenanigans given his level of exposure? One minute you join Chamisa's fundraising team, the next Job Sikhala's? The next you support Biti. While you are at it, please check George Charamba's timeline about Hopewell's alleged visit to State House. Once you are done, add shadowy figures like Ali Naka & Jealousy Mawarire. What do you know about them? We shall also visit the small matter of the alleged £50k Barclays loan & forensically examine how feasible a major UK bank can issue such a loan to a 20 something year old woth a Zim passport who has recently arrived in the UK & has got no collateral. If you open your eyes wide enough, we could end up getting Zim back!

I look at hundreds of CVs every week as I help organisations source candidates. Many people are losing opportunities because their CVs are poorly put together. Treat the first page as prime real estate. After your name[including contact details- email and phone number], go straight to what matters: your qualifications, certifications, and relevant work experience. These are often used by recruiters as pass or fail criteria. State the sectors you have worked in, the organisations you have worked for by name, how long you were there, and the roles you held. Do not waste the first page with unnecessary details like your physical address, number of children, religion, or a photo. These do not help you get shortlisted. Also avoid useless statements like “I am a team player,” “I am innovative,” or “I am ethical.” These are your opinions, not facts. They do not prove anything. If you add anything else on the first page, it must be hard evidence that you can do the job. Use facts and numbers. Show what you achieved in facts and numbers, not just what you were responsible for. That is what gets attention. @ipcconsultants

Having spent more than two decades helping organisations fill CEO and executive roles, I have seen a pattern that is also backed by credible scientific evidence. Boards tend to favour candidates who have already held a CEO position when shortlisting. While on the surface, this feels safe, in reality, there is very little solid evidence that prior CEO experience consistently leads to better performance. In many cases, first-time CEOs perform just as well, and often better, although this does depend on context. What boards miss is that there is a large pool of strong candidates sitting just below the CEO level across many organisations who are fully capable of stepping into the role and succeeding. Limiting your search to those who have already been CEOs shrinks your options and can cause you to miss high-potential leaders. Boards should cast the net wider and focus on what the person can actually do, not just the roles they have held. The same applies to industry experience. Boards often insist on hiring within the same industry, assuming it reduces risk. The available evidence does not strongly support this. Leaders from outside the industry can bring fresh thinking and see opportunities others miss. With the right support, they can perform just as well. Another trap is overvaluing titles. Labels like Director or Executive can be misleading. In some organisations, these titles are inflated and carry little real responsibility. What matters is the level of work the person has handled, the decisions they have made, and the results they have delivered. Hiring for CEO and executive roles needs to be done properly. Focus on the work the role requires and assess whether the candidate has handled similar levels of complexity and responsibility before. That is what gives you a better chance of getting it right. @ipcconsultants

🚨🎙️Rio Ferdinand on Mo Salah showing off his trophy cabinet 🗣️| it’s not bragging that’s football heritage, It’s high time we accept that Mo Salah isn’t just a king but a premier league legend and no one has ever had a cabinet full of achievements like this it’s just fantastic.

A video from Tanzania shows a virgin woman jumping over a dying horse three times, and the animal revived. Local belief holds that if a very sick animal is jumped over by a virgin girl, it can recover.

I know there is a strong push to promote demographic diversity on boards such as gender, age, and ethnicity. That has its place. But from my experience on boards, and from what credible research shows, demographic diversity on its own does not improve how well a board does its job. What matters more is cognitive diversity. Cognitive diversity simply means differences in how people think and approach issues. @ipcconsultants

The biggest bargaining power Zimbabwe Cricket have now is they built a team and system that excelled at the T20 World Cup. No player can come from elsewhere and claim to be a saviour anymore. They built that domestic squad domestically. Fall in line.

Being a man isn’t always easy. You plan the trip, fuel the car, make sure everyone’s comfortable… and somewhere along the way, the music goes quiet. You check the mirror 🪞 All the babies? Fast asleep. Even your babe? Gone 😄 And just like that, from “family man” to a chauffeur. Deep down, you smile though you feel they should keep you company and help stay awake as well 😴. But this is what love looks like; Carrying everyone safely, even when they don’t see it in the moment. Men… we keep driving ❤️
