@Teeniiola This clearly shows you that an average Nigerian supports injustice, imagine victimising the oppressed just bcos he fought for his right and y'all still wonder why your politicians are mean. An average of you is no different from your politicians.

An American bank partnered with a Nigerian man to launder $308 million of Nigerian government money. The money left Nigeria through American banks. It then sat quietly in a shell company for years while the man lived comfortably in Texas. In 2003 American authorities arrested him. He spent six months in federal detention in the United States waiting to be tried. Before the trial happened he offered to return $163 million. America accepted. He flew back to Nigeria. Nobody questioned him. Nobody charged him. Nobody prosecuted him. He ran for Senate and won. He ran for Governor and won. He ran for Governor again and won. America returned the $308 million his operation had laundered. The new president then put him in cabinet. America did not trust Nigeria with the $308 million. They tied every dollar to three specific roads. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Abuja-Kano Road. Second Niger Bridge. They even included a clawback clause. Misuse one dollar, pay it all back. Why the conditions? Because previous loot returned to Nigeria had already disappeared. Nigeria's own government told the court they had no record of how the earlier billions were spent. A man who laundered billions is currently Nigeria's Minister of Budget and Economic Planning. He decides how Nigeria spends its money. 💀🇳🇬🇺🇸

@ChiomaFavour0 You did well but don't you think exposing the face of the aggressor and not the victim could have been better, did you seek this woman's consent before putting her pictures out there? Emotional intelligence and empathy is key.

This married woman is an apprentice just like me, we are both learning how to sew. This morning, she came to work late and our madam asked her to kneel down. This is somebody’s wife ooo. I summoned courage to tell her that she can’t ask someone’s wife to kneel down just because she came late, at least respect her husband. Can you imagine that this woman slapped me and ask me to stop coming to her shop.. that I’m so disrespectful and that’s why she doesn’t accept Igbo people. I didnt argue i just asked her to refund me back my 160k I paid for 6 months and I’ve only spent 3 weeks with her People around are asking me to beg my madam instead of asking for a refund that this is how it’s being done

I’m so emotional today… 🥺😭 Because I still can’t believe I’m living the life I once only dreamed about. Seven years ago, when I chose you, people had so much to say. They called you “just a laundry boy.” They said, as a Registered Nurse, I should aim higher…that I should marry a rich man… But while they were busy speaking, I was seeing. I didn’t see your beginning, I saw your potential. I didn’t see your situation, I saw your strength. I didn’t see lack, I saw a man God was still writing his story through. And I knew… with Jehovah on our side,we would build something they could never understand. Today, 7 years later… 😭 That same “laundry boy” they spoke about…is the man Jehovah used to push me, support me, and stand by me until my dream of becoming a USRN became a reality. Tell me… how do I not get emotional? We have gone places we once only imagined. We have lived a life we once prayed for. We have built something money cannot buy, love, peace, purpose, and a home filled with grace. This is not luck. This is not chance. This is Jehovah’s doing… and it is beautiful in my eyes 😭❤️ My sunshine in my darkest times ☀️❤️ Thank you for believing in us when it mattered most.Thank you for proving that purpose is not defined by where you start. I will love you today, I will love you tomorrow, and I will love you forever ❤️ Happy 7th anniversary to us and and a decade of everlasting love❤️ If you like carry billing pursue better man. #nursejoy

I don’t even like joining in the ‘bills’ conversation… If it was 1974 or something, it would have been a debate.. But in this age and time ? Coz wait.. -You be human being, I be human being -You be adult, I be adult -You dey see shege, I dey see shege -You go school, I go school -You love me, I love you -You dey earn, I dey earn But somehow someway, na only me go pay bills ? While your own earning is for. . . ? Oya come exist inside same house with me first make I see. 🙏🏻

@maxnonso Funny how this is a Nigerian thing, both men and women are guilty, everything to an average Nigerian revolves around marriage, once you're unmarried even if successful at every other thing, you'll be looked upon as a failure, meanwhile some married persons are struggling with life.

So I went to church today to help with cleaning the church and the environment. Normally, even if I’m tired, I just support by buying water and snacks for those doing the work. But today, I said let me join fully. We finished everything, I was about to leave, then one brother stopped me. “Sister, God bless you.” I said Bless you. Then he added… “I know you’re looking for husband, God will send you your husband, your efforts will not be in vain.” 😭😂 Omo… I just said amen, entered my car and started laughing 🤣 So people actually think doing God’s work is mainly for finding husband? 😂 God abeg, I came to clean, not to submit application 😭

The man is clearly going through a difficult phase, trying to stay productive and not be a burden, that deserves understanding and respect. At the same time, the wife may be feeling pressure, fatigue, or even quiet resentment from suddenly becoming the main provider, and it’s showing in her attitude. The real issue here isn’t just food, it’s lack of communication and empathy on both sides. He shouldn’t be made to feel useless, and she also shouldn’t feel like everything is now on her shoulders alone. They both need an honest conversation, because this is less about “who should cook” and more about how they’re handling a sudden role change in the marriage.
Ebun@kenkenlewu

My friend lost his job last September. Luckily, he had already paid this year rent and stocked up on food before things got bad. He has been searching for a new job, but nothing has come through, so he started learning video editing online to stay productive. Interestingly, he was the one who got his wife her current job. Since he lost his, she had been supporting him in her own little way at least financially until she stylishly stopped. Yet, he didn’t quarrel or question her. He then noticed that since last month, anytime she came back from work, she wouldn’t cook or even ask if he had eaten. This happened repeatedly until he finally asked her why. Her response? “Why can’t you cook too? You’re always at home doing nothing. Do you expect me to come back from work and still stress myself because you want to eat?” He's been eating outside since.
