He pays for expensive dinners, buys gifts, and opens doors that would otherwise remain closed. The resourceful guy ensures her lifestyle remains elevated regardless of her romantic situation (I was surprised that even single women who had businesses or jobs had some guy sending them 4 figures monthly allowance - some with sex, some without)
