During EthCC and its major vault-focused side events, our founder @BlockRost spent time with DeFi quants and traders, TradFi yield experts and asset managers looking for better on-chain access, curators (some still lending-first, others actively exploring diversification), and LPs searching for robust alternatives to simple lending exposure.
There was a consensus that DeFi is entering a genuine competition phase, where strategy design, disciplined execution, and verifiable risk-adjusted performance will make the difference.
This shift is creating a real need for infrastructure that lets sophisticated strategies compete effectively for curator selection and capital allocation.
Dirac is building exactly that infrastructure:
- Quants and traders design strategies
- Curators select and deploy them into vaults
- LPs deposit capital
We are starting with delta-neutral strategies that build on top of lending, a base most curators already know and trust, while adding perps in a controlled way to generate additional yield.
These strategies are configurable by curators into fully liquid vaults so LPs can withdraw their entire deposit at any time, which offers an advantage over pure lending vaults where liquidity is not always instantly withdrawable.
Our immediate priority is building a proven on-chain track record, particularly around execution, rebalancing, and funding parameters, while actively iterating on the Dirac Curator Framework based on feedback from the curators we met.
