Doubtless some of them do - I suspect and hope a minority. And there are some recently arrived folks who do not uphold British culture and values and mean us no well. This issue needs a light shining on it. Instead, Starmer tries to preclude the free and open debate that might address it and fix it.

The Unite the Kingdom march organisers are spreading hatred and division. They do not reflect the Britain I’m proud of.
Peaceful protest is a fundamental right and one I will always protect. But if protest turns violent, we will act swiftly, with extra court capacity in place.

A fair point but KS is determined to portray Unite as bunch of racist thugs and I don’t think this is true. On either count. Look at Sir Trevor Phillips on his last attendance. This appears to be a decent value based system and KS cannot (as the sand beneath his feet continues to disintegrate) cope with ordinary civility and decency. It’s him we are afraid of. Not other races or religions.
