When our president says, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” when those are the threats he makes, and such words are not unanimously condemned as wicked and deranged, we the people are in a state of abject moral disaster.

@Daractenus Not only that, these threats are justification for Iran or other countries to destroy America if there is a perceived imminent attack. It's like the Castle Doctrine.

My problem with the “he wouldn’t actually do it” and “institutional checks would step in to stop him” arguments regarding any of Trump’s unhinged threats is that we are in this position precisely because, at every prior stage, he did do it and nobody stepped in to stop him.

I watch online but the only time I want to speak to folks is during the greeting time of visitors. Other than that let me sit on my pew in my corner and don’t bother me. This is how I show up and God continues to bless me because he knows my heart.

Christians should be striving toward a church that brings together every race and ethnicity in the common worship of God and pursuit of holiness. The richer that tapestry is, the better. Ideas to the contrary exist in a lesser spiritual and ethical zone.

It's a chilly grey day here. I converted my Easter leftovers into turkey and wild rice soup. Hearty. I'm thankful the fighter pilot was found and his story. How he climbed the side of a hill and found a depressed area to hide in. Bless him and his family.

@VicVijayakumar I have my grandmother's cast iron skillet. It's only been used for cornbread and I don't think it's ever been washed. Just pop the cornbread out, wipe out crumbs and regrease. I store in the oven.

@CountryFirstRep 1 Corinthians 5:11 instructs Christians not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer but lives in unrepentant sin.

@CountryFirstRep One of the Christian Nationalist favorite verses is 1 Corinthians 5:11 to exclude whoever doesn't agree with them. Now I think it's time we show the true meaning. We should not associate with the evil of this corrupt administration.

There is no Christian argument for supporting this man.

@simon_schama My dad did this. He was very professional and would never use inappropriate speech. He had a series of strokes and started raging and cursing. It got worse until he passed.

I just had a bright red Summer Tanager light on my balcony! He looked around then took off again. My first here. I use to see them in the country with their lovely green mates. Thank you Lord for this tiny Easter gift. Joy.
