Never forget that the Athletic ripped apart Jordon Hudson’s life. One writer said her relationship gave him “the ick” while another applied for an open records request to publish UNC emails related to Hudson. They repeatedly called her relationship a “saga.” Meanwhile, when the Athletic has an actual PR nightmare in their own backyard involving Dianna Russini, it’s crickets. Mike Silver retweeted Dianna Russini’s work 40x from January 1 - April 7 and hasn’t said her name (or Vrabel’s) since! Silver did refer to Russini as “elite mommy,” a “Christmas present” and “timeless” before the scandal broke. The Athletics’ “lengthy” investigation with no public timetable or promise of transparency is unacceptable. Their silence is unacceptable. The initial reaction to defend Russini’s actions was unacceptable. The NFL, ESPN, and others have taken a lot of heat in this scandal and the Atheltic hasn’t gotten nearly enough imo.

New @StubHub scam @ScottFriedman3. Just got charged $5200 because "you missed the deadline to deliver the tickets." Tickets were shipped well in advance of event and FedEx has been trying to deliver the tickets for over a week with no one available to sign for it.
