More tickets released for the Jonas Brothers, just like I said would happen.
This is exactly what needs to be investigated and stopped.
Ticket holdbacks create artificial scarcity, driving up prices.
This is what politicians like @charlesallen don't understand, eliminating the secondary market doesn't solve this problem or help fans.
A monopoly can simply hold back more tickets and keep raising prices.
If they want to actually help fans, ban dynamic pricing, end Platinum tickets, and require full public disclosure of ticket holdbacks.

The @jonasbrothers did not sell out every single ticket for all 3 of their shows @TheGarden . What likely will happen is this. They manipulated the supply to keep the prices higher because there are so few tickets that were actually released. This will cause fans to feel like they only have two options, buy the side/behind the stage now or, buy resale tickets (Ticketmaster collects fees from both the buyer and seller which is way more money than the fees they collect on the first tickets sold). I suggest waiting, They will slowly release tickets (likely at platinum pricing) they initially held back. Also prices should come down closer to the shows. Bon Jovi just used this tactic which I have documented. MSG is known to do this for just about every single show as well. The worst thing as a fan you can possibly do is panic buy. Most times.... it #paystowait

Ticketing platforms shouldn’t profit more when ticket prices increase on the secondary market.
Event organisers should have the tools to control resales, set price caps and decide how their tickets are sold.

He’s listing tickets for private gain, competing against its sellers.

If you think Stubhub is the only one doing this practice, then you're nuts. It's like having a pawn shop for tickets, esp. when someone misprices a ticket. Most tickets exchanges have depts for this practice

The @StubHub CEO is one of the biggest scalpers on StubHub.
Not a rumor. It is in their own SEC filings.
He runs a fund that resells tickets on the platform he owns, and StubHub helps finance the other big scalpers too.
The "marketplace for fans" was never really built for fans.

I had bought tickets on @StubHub and something went wrong. So they made me choose replacements. Well on the phone it wont tell you its an obstructed limited view… now I can’t get a refund or change my seats. I did not buy obstructed seats and did not know the replacements were.
