A huge shoutout to our JVA squad, for going 3-0 this weekend with a goal differential of +21! They closed the CS Classic out with a 9-1 win over Temple today. They’ll be back in action on Tuesday vs Lorena’s varsity.

Our JVs are traveling home from Lehman having clocked a lot of bus hours this week! JVA goes 2-1 in the tournament with a winning goal from Sully in game 2! JVB loses a nailbiter vs Bowie and ends up 0-3. 🐅⚽️ Sully 👷‍♀️ Aris and Moran JV resumes play next Friday vs Rudder.

Stacey—I have to tell you that I was a patient in your DPP (diabetes prevention program) as a prediabetic. I was following the plan (including oatmeal for breakfast—even when I was not hungry in the AM, I was told “don’t skip the most important meal…” and to eat 5-6 times a day to keep my metabolism revving…). Yeah, well I was following the DPP and very frustrated by my lack of healing with 100% compliance. So whilst in the program I continued to do my own research on my hormonal health and gratefully discovered the low-carb lifestyle (gasp!!!). I secretly adopted this new LCHF lifestyle and the weight began to drop off quickly. Amazingly, I was now the only one in the DPP losing weight and improving my health markers. Go figure! I kept what I was doing a secret from the RDs running the program. I still wish I had a picture of her jaw hitting the ground when I revealed my secret on the last day of the program… I share my story respectfully to ask you to consider this way of eating for the health of yourself and all who you have the opportunity to instruct. My life has changed drastically because I made the decision to quit all sugar, grains, refined carbs, and seed oils! OATMEAL was destroying my health (among other things like whole wheat bread and pasta). I’ll never have to worry about T2D again! PS: ADA, why did you turn off and hide comments from people like me who have been set free from a life of progressive disease? It doesn’t have to be that way!!!! #SugarFreed #LowCarb #KetoHeals

I want honest feedback 🙏 Now, to address another question that I’ve been asked a lot which is: Did Tesla pay me to do this? The answer to that question is absolutely not. Tesla wasn’t even aware of this project until I started posting build pictures of it which captured the attention of many Tesla employees including senior executives. Their team then began to reach out to let us know that they thought the project was really cool and that they wanted to come out and see it in person. They also offered top-tier level tech-support and guidance as we worked through their complex systems. I’ve never owned a Tesla simply because I’ve never needed one which meant I really didn’t know that much about the company so what I really loved about this project was discovering how insanely passionate Tesla employees and fans are about technology and innovation, like these people genuinely love what they do. So even if you’re not a fan of electric vehicles or some of Tesla‘s designs, we should all be cheering for this aggressive, innovative, and passionate American company which employees a lot of American people because at the end of the day differences aside, we are all on the same team 🤝 (except for government mandated EV ownership, that is not on our team) @teslamotors @SupercarRon @cybertruck
