If Maxx didn’t speak on anything —team officials and BIG media would control the narrative & messaging of the story since they all talk with each other Raiders had “no comment” Ravens pushed “concern over MRI” Media echoed and steered knee concerns Then everyone else interprets how they want to interpret —and argue over it all The player usually has no voice and has to “shut up and play” Maxx is a player that has a voice because he’s one of the best players in the league that also has zero “diva” tendencies to him. There’s no questioning his work ethic and will to win. And it pains me that I have to glaze him —but I’ve been a teammate of his (he’s also lil bro) and I’m aware of how the game works You don’t like what he said because it shows more light on how the Ravens did bad business and I’m assuming you don’t want negative vibes with your team God forbid he tells his side of everything

I really thought this whole Crosby and Ravens saga was over. Honestly felt bad for Maxx after the trade fell through and how it happened. But now that he’s dragging this thing out in the media I really don’t feel bad at all. You say you’re happy to be a Raider and want to finish your career there, so stop playing victim and move on.
