Beginning this year, Starting Strokes will be eliminated from the TOUR Championship. @TOURChamp will be played as a 72-hole stroke-play event, with all players starting the tournament at even par. The best performer over the course of those four rounds will win the #FedExCup.

Imagine there’s a play in tournament of 16 teams, but then when you get down to 2 teams, all 16 teams come back and play one game on the same field to see who the winner is.

@KendoVT It really is all they need to do isn’t it. Such a simple change that benefits everyone, and the only potential negative is once every couple of years of these things you might have a weekend without a few big players. Once in a blue moon the five best players might all miss.
