Drawing closer to Europe is a major blunder by Carney and an affront to the soul of Canada. Canada is North American to its bones, much closer in culture to the USA than any other nation. The Liberals have been hard at work for decades destroying Canadian identity, first through relentless propaganda, then mass immigration and now this schizophrenic pivot towards Europe. Canada will never be European in character. By denying its North American heritage, it becoming a country of nothing. Just a cynical, transactional economic area.

@jondutoit I wonder how indigenous Canadians feel about Carney’s master plan to tie us to Europe - the mothership of white colonizers. Some of their communities straddle the border to USA. Some tribes are closely tied to tribal people across the border. This whole thing is idiotic.

Les libéraux ont mis fin au projet de pipeline Energy Est vers Saint John et ont bloqué les usines d’exportation de GNL malgré les demandes insistantes de l’Europe pour notre énergie. Je mets M. Carney au défi de nous dire quand la première cargaison de GNL canadien arrivera en Europe. L’exportation d'énergie ne passe pas par des discours, des poignées de main et des séances photo.

The hard diplomatic work of trade with Europe was done long ago. We have free trade with them. The barrier to selling to Europe is the Liberal government blocking our biggest export from getting out of Canada. They killed the Energy East oil pipeline to Saint John and blocked LNG export plants despite Europe begging for our energy. I am challenging Mr. Carney to tell us when the first shipment of Canadian LNG will arrive in Europe. Our biggest export cannot be speeches, handshakes, and photo ops.

If you haven’t already taken a chance to look up the Century Initiative, you should do it. It’s quite clear our Government isn’t working in the best interests of its citizens. One would almost think they hate us. But how could they you say? They are always smiling & telling us how great everything is, ya well behind that smile is something very sinister. I sure hope the youth of Canada wake up & take a stand, their future is looking quite dim.
