Your description of the markets reflects ideology, but no familiarity with equities. Gas prices were higher during Biden, but you probably had nothing to say about it then. The Iran war is affecting prices, but it will be over soon. Iran is no longer sending oil below market price to China. Neither is Venezuela. Iranian & Venzuelian Oil sold to China will be bought in dollars, not yuan, and the US will get a cut. And UAE just left OPEC because they want to produce & sell more oil, which brings down prices. Gas prices will be back to the pre-war levels this year. That's a small price to pay for ending Iran's nuclear program, their proxies, and the IRGC from maintaining power.
