You don’t have to look far to see the rule of law being undermined and democracy being challenged in America. As Minnesota continues to not just defend the rule of law, but advance it, I was honored to appoint a new Chief Justice and Associate Justice to the Supreme Court.

Sex-sting - we hear about some individuals getting caught in sex-stings quite often. Another type of sting operation is occurring. It is a Bob-sting.

From 1879 to 1914, America experienced the most spectacular economic boom in human history. Real wages doubled. Industrial production exploded 4x. Population grew from 50 million to 100 million while living standards soared across every income level. The dollar stayed rock-solid because it meant something: 1/20th of an ounce of gold. Prices fell gently year after year (about 1% annually) as productivity gains got passed to consumers instead of getting inflated away. You could save money under your mattress and actually get richer. Wild concept. Stable money creates long-term thinking. When money holds its value, entrepreneurs build for the long term instead of financial engineering their way to next quarter's earnings. When central banks can't print their way out of every problem, governments actually have to balance budgets. Powell would've lasted about six months in 1895.

Green extremists often speak as though abundance is the disease, when in fact abundance is usually what makes environmental improvement possible. A poor society burns what it can find and dumps what it cannot manage.
