The material reality of Cuba today is one of a nation under siege, where the illegal US blockade functions as a deliberate instrument of starvation and economic sabotage. From the scarcity of basic medicines to the calculated disruption of fuel supplies, the blockade is not a passive policy but an active act of war designed to break the spirit of a people who chose their own path. The recent escalation in Washington, including the cynical pursuit of an arrest warrant against Raúl Castro, represents a desperate attempt to criminalise the Cuban leadership and undermine the sovereignty of the revolution. This legalistic theatre is merely an extension of the same imperialist aggression that has failed to topple the socialist project for over sixty years. We stand in total solidarity with Cuba against these manufactured charges and the genocidal blockade.
