eVTOL Vertiport Signals Most People Miss Vertiport scaling isn’t linear. Think of it this way: Florida DOT lists 4 launch nodes = 6 possible nonstop route pairs for an OEM like $JOBY. Grow it to 10 nodes = 45 possible route pairs. That’s +39 new route links and 7.5x more possible route pairs thanks to Metcalf's law.

Several states already have ,or are currently producing, business plans for eventual AAM. These are in addition to the national AAM strategy framework: CA, TX, MI, FL, NC, NY, GA, OH. All are good reads. $JOBY

@JoTrader4 Agree. I see the rather inevitable eVTOL short-haul future which makes it fun to follow. But slowly building aircraft, especially in a non-sales model like Joby...well, BE seems a far way off (with any of the players). Animal spirits is the only wildcard.

@BobTreemore $JOBY This never had a path for me considering the story. Don't see the catalysts here to make it pop any time soon. Best case scenario for me would be consolidation sideways IF it holds here on support/resistance. Time and opportunity cost my concerns. My 2 cents

I'm a holder of Joby before it was $JOBY - IYKYK. That said, I've yet to see a numbers breakdown of their path to profitably, even BE, despite us knowing production ramp figures. Do investors fear (including myself), true math & length of time. Has anyone taken a stab?

Apart from the Row, which was a late-COVID hangover release, and the easily forecasted ill-fated Guide, I struggle to find any attempt at innovation or positive growth-enhancing change of path from the company over four+ years. There's just no fire or inspiration

I don't think $PTON had a good Q. Really solid FCF, Margins, and AEBITDA. BS is fixed, but riding that wave is over now. They have to reignite growth. Stern basically said, "We don't have any new meaningful growth plans for 12-18 months". Need to cut SBC and introduce a stock repurchase program until it's clear they have new growth levers. Otherwise, shorts are going to absolutely dominate this thing, especially in a tape like we've had recently. Trading ~4x AEBITDA is just stupid.

@the_mister_mack @ArcherNightfall While I’m a $joby investor, there is no evidence FL or Desantis have stated a platform presence. The gov did say he sat in a craft in Paris (ACHR). ORL to TPA corridor is perfect for eVTOL either way. SunTrax test center is between the two and LKL is making accommodations now.

@snitkovskiy @PeloBuddy In defense of the article, I think PTON is likely being the click-baitor. There's 1001 ways PTON could implement this that would be pro-company, not pro-member. The fact that they haven't more more fully disclosed their approach is a bit sketch, TBH.

@naglerouge Interesting. They did outsource some of their prior gaming dev to outside studios. I think PTON-zwift would be fun, so hopefully they're just refining their in-house focus to core competencies and letting others do stuff they don't need to. Good find.

@BobTreemore just checked out LinkedIn. Looks like most of the people who were part of developing the gamification (ie unity engineers and art directors) were laid off in July. Does this mean my hope for a Zwift like competitive offering (as opposed to classes) is off the table?
