For us sports fans of a certain age, the sports section of the newspaper taught us how to read. I didn’t grow up with the Washington Post sports section, but I did grow up because of it. Today’s a sad day for my friends and for all of us.

Billionaire Jeff Bezos owns the Post. Bezos could fund it as a hobby and not lose any wealth. The goal of billionaires is to gut trusted institutions and destabilize in order to sow the distrust they need to allow them to get away with whatever they’re aiming to get away with.

@castrovince Totally agree. Fans will give them a pass because they love Jose but this doesn’t make them better in any way and commits future dollars to a player who will (eventually) be declining.

Judkins leads a Browns rookie class that is passing every test. Schwesinger, Graham, Fannin Jr., Sampson, and even Gabriel, are showing major potential. Andrew Berry got this one right. Sampson might not be an every-down back, but he's fast and can be a weapon.

@RuiterWrongFAN Daryl — For $1.2 billion, how much of the stadium would be owned by the public? Any or do the Haslam’s own 100% of the stadium for which they would pay half?

#Browns fronted cost of $125 million reno in 2014-15 & Cleveland is paying $30 million of it back over 15 years. Like Brook Park, they offered to pay 50% of a 2027-28 reno. They believe BP is better location for fans & will draw more/bigger non team events
