Indians started to pour in around 2004, and by "pour" I mean a tidal wave of them. This is when Cisco packed them, like sardines, into conference rooms with a single laptop, a phone, and a low-end chair. BTW, my salary in 1999: 75,000. This is inflation adjusted for 150,000 today. If you work in tech, check out how little your salary has moved - thanks to h1bs.

You call this an overthrow attempt?: *No civilians killed by rioters.* Ashli Babbitt (protester) was shot by Capitol Police. Three other protesters died on-site from medical emergencies (heart issues, overdose). *No government workers/officers killed on Jan 6 by rioters.* Officer Brian Sicknick died the next day of natural causes (strokes). Several officers were injured; four died by suicide in following months [interesting]. Some rioters carried or had firearms (handguns, rifles in vehicles); one fired shots outside. *No guns used to shoot anyone inside the Capitol*

Senator Padilla is absolutely right: the people who tried to overthrow our government and attacked police don’t deserve a taxpayer-funded payout. We’ll keep fighting to ensure this never happens. op: @alexpadilla4ca

🚨 86 Reps have stepped up to END birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens and tourists. By cosponsoring @RepBrianBabin's Birthright Citizenship Act (H.R. 569), they’ve earned an A+ NumbersUSA grade in that category. Is your Rep on the list?

In Houston, we have Colombians packed outside THEIR consulate, voting for THEIR president on American soil and act like this is normal. Open borders were such a mess, we’re now hosting their elections. When the hell does it stop? #TexasChanged

I went to Delaney Hall after reports of unsafe and unconstitutional conditions inside, and what I heard from families and advocates was heartbreaking. The people being held there are fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters who deserve to be treated with dignity.

My request to access the facility was denied this morning, raising even more questions about what they are trying to hide from public view. I’ll keep fighting for answers and to hold ICE accountable.

@mandyarthur **Graham voted with Biden's positions >50% of the time in 2023 (mostly nominations, per 538 data). Massie voted with him only 1.8% during the 117th Congress (per FiveThirtyEight/Wikipedia).** Trump did endorse Graham for his 2026 re-election.

Her record shows she prioritizes prevention, rehab, sanctuary policies, and affordability measures like housing/tax cuts over mass removals of criminals or undocumented immigrants, or H1B restrictions favoring American workers first. Different priorities than what you asked about. Voters decide if that's "fixing" CA.

Californians are tired of candidates describing how unaffordable it is to live here. I'm the candidate with actual plans to fix it.

**No, based on her record and statements as a gubernatorial candidate:** Katie Porter supported Prop 36 for tougher penalties on organized retail theft and some drug crimes, but her broader approach stresses prevention, rehabilitation, recidivism reduction through jobs programs, and opposing for-profit prisons—not mass removal of all criminals. On immigration, she strongly backs California's sanctuary policies, rejects cooperating with federal ICE deportations ("ICE makes us less safe"), calls undocumented immigrants "Californians" who contribute to growth and taxes, and supports state healthcare for them. She won't prioritize removing them. No detailed public stance on restricting H1B visas or explicitly prioritizing Americans over foreign workers in tech; her platform centers on tax cuts for middle-class earners (<$100k), free tuition/childcare, and housing to address affordability and wages.

Congratulations to the 70,000 Uber & Lyft drivers in Massachusetts on their historic victory unionizing with @32BJSEIU & @IAM_Union. I call on Uber & Lyft to immediately begin negotiating a fair first contract that delivers a living wage & the dignity these workers deserve.

Uber and Lyft drivers in Massachusetts have officially unionized, a first-in-the-nation move that now sets up what could be the final stage in a years-long organizing effort. trib.al/yNBB4XW
