Hear that @NRA? So you can no longer talk about cars being as dangerous as guns (by the way, cars are regulated [recognize that word from the second amendment?] through registrations and licensing)

F*ck the NRA@FuckThe_NRA

A study by John Hopkins Medicine researchers found: Gunshot victims were 14 times more likely to die than those w/ traumatic injuries from car crashes, assaults, falls, or stabbings. The classic #NRA/Gun-Nut "what about..." & "it's not the guns" arguments are f*cking ignorant.

BREAKING: Appeals court REJECTS Donald Trump’s latest escape attempt in E. Jean Carroll case—$83 million verdict holds. Donald Trump just lost another round in his years-long attempt to avoid paying $83 million to the woman a jury found he sexually abused and defamed. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday refused Trump's request to have its full panel rehear his challenge to E. Jean Carroll's defamation verdict. A three-judge panel had already upheld the $83.3 million judgment in September. The full court declining to reconsider it means Trump's next stop is the Supreme Court — the one he stacked with three of his own appointees. The court's message was blunt. Judge Denny Chin wrote that Trump's attempt to substitute the United States government as the defendant — essentially asking taxpayers to pay his defamation bill — was raised "fifteen months after trial and the entry of judgment against him." "No other defendant," the judge wrote, "would be permitted" to do this. No other defendant. A phrase that keeps applying to a man who keeps insisting the rules don't apply to him. Let's review what the juries actually found. In 2023, a federal jury concluded Trump sexually abused Carroll in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the 1990s and defamed her when he denied it — awarding her $5 million. In 2024, a separate jury found Trump defamed Carroll again with statements he made in 2019, awarding her $83.3 million after concluding those statements caused her to be harassed, humiliated, subjected to death threats, and left fearing for her physical safety for years. Two juries. Two verdicts. Over $88 million in total judgments. Every appellate court that has considered the case has upheld the findings. Trump's legal team responded by calling Carroll's allegations "Hoaxes" and "false claims" and declaring that "the American people stand with President Trump in demanding an end to the unlawful, radical weaponization of our justice system." The American people who served on those two juries apparently did not get that memo. Trump has posted a $92 million bond to delay collection while he appeals. He will now likely ask the Supreme Court to save him from the consequences of the crimes that two separate juries concluded he committed. Meanwhile, E. Jean Carroll has been waiting for justice since 2019. She's still waiting. Please like and share this article if you believe a man found liable for sexual abuse should have to pay what the jury awarded — regardless of what office he holds.

BREAKING: Independent Senator Angus King sends shockwaves through D.C. by exposing the true cost of the Iran War on CNN — and it's so much more than we thought. The cat's really out of the bag now... “I believe the $50 billion estimate is more accurate. That’s the one that I’ve been hearing until yesterday,” King said. The Defense Department's acting chief financial officer, Jules Hurst III, claimed during a hearing yesterday before the House Armed Services committee that Trump's war has only cost $25 billion so far. King doesn't buy that narrative for a second. He said that the conflict appears to be costing American taxpayers “a billion dollars a day” and has been ongoing for nearly two months now. “There’s a tremendous amount of repair necessary at American facilities throughout the Middle East that were damaged by Iran," said King. "Not to mention the replenishment of the massive amount of ordinance that’s been expended in the war and also the deployment of thousands of troops and ships and airplanes and all of the military assets that have been deployed to the region, so it’s a big number." And then came the hammer blow— “I’m going to try to make some inquiry into what they based their estimate on, because $25 billion is considerably below all the other estimates I’ve been seeing for the past two months,” he said. It's now painfully obvious that the Trump administration is trying to downplay the cost of the war to prevent an already unpopular war from growing even more unpopular. According to CNN, the Pentagon has been excluding the costs of repairing damages to military bases in their assessments. $50 billion and no end in sight. Meanwhile, Trump and his Republican cronies are relentlessly gutting the social safety net. Apparently, there's no money for healthcare, childcare, or education but there's endless cash for bombs. Please ❤️ and share to demand an end to this war NOW!

BREAKING: “Lift the weight of the world off your cankles!” Jimmy Kimmel brutally trolls Trump with a fake ad for the medicine Trump needs to make all his problems go away…”Rezyne!” See, it’s “Resign.” Get it? During last night’s show, Trump’s late-night nemesis aired a parody pharmaceutical ad for the newest drug for president suffering from dementia, war weariness, and lack of ballroom. “Nobody said getting older was easy. You're struggling to stay awake. Your memory is fading,” intones the voice-over. “Your dear lifelong friends are dead,” says the narrator as the camera pans over a picture Jeffrey Epstein. “And no matter what you do, you just can't get your pole up. It's time to make yourself great again with Rezyne! “Go back to doing the things you love. Rezyne will lift the weight of the world off your cankles so you can grab life by the p***y again. Ask your conscience if Rezyne is right for you. Side effects include spontaneous celebrations, loss of ballroom, and firm global erections that will last for years to come. Get your life back and give us hours with Rezyne!” LOL. It’s the perfect solution to an intractable problem that is ruining the country and sending the entire world into a spiral of chaos. Just resign. As soon as possible!

BREAKING: Elizabeth Warren unleashes a fiery speech to block taxpayer funding for Trump's hideous ballroom: "Americans are selling their plasma to pay for groceries and gas!" And that wasn't even the best part... "Right now, I'm BLOCKING a Republican bill to build Donald Trump's ballroom. Instead of rubber-stamping Trump’s gold-encrusted ballroom, Congress must lower costs for American families," Warren wrote on X, sharing a video of her speech. And what a speech it was. This one has MAGA world seething. "Donald Trump promised to lower costs on day one. Well, today is day four hundred and sixty-four of Donald Trump's presidency and we are in a full-blown affordability crisis," Warren said on the Senate floor. "We are two months into Trump's illegal war with Iran. A war that, according to experts, is costing taxpayers over a billion dollars a day," she said. "American families are getting flattened by rising costs on just about everything from groceries to rent to gas. Just today, gas prices hit a new high since Trump started his war. People are stretching themselves to the brink just to pay their bills." "But what is the biggest issue of the day, according to Republicans in Congress? Fast-tracking Donald Trump's gold-encrusted ballroom!" Warren raged. "Now, another recent Republican plan would send $400 million to the White House, I guess to buy more gold leaf and onyx marble for the wannabe king." In the wake of the alleged assassination attempt against Trump at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Republicans have been engaged in a full-court press to build Trump's $400 million ballroom. Originally, Trump had claimed that corporate donors would foot the bill for his vanity project — a blatant pay-to-play scheme that would have allowed companies to buy access to the White House. But now, people like Lindsey Graham are insisting that taxpayers should fund the build. "But I want to be clear," said Warren. "It is common sense that we can, of course, protect the president without shoveling millions of dollars into Trump's ballroom in the middle of an affordability crisis. This bill to rubber-stamp Trump's latest vanity project is a giant slap in the face to American families. It's plain and simple." "Americans are selling their plasma to pay for groceries and gas!" she continued. Think about that. Americans, right now, today, are selling their blood just to pay their bills." "And what's the Republican solution? Dump more money into Donald Trump's gold-encrusted vanity project," Warren went on. "And let's do it on a fast track, because it's that urgent. Well, here are a few other ideas for things we could fast-track to actually help the American people..." "We could reverse Trump's and the Republicans' giant healthcare cuts that kicked millions of Americans off their health insurance and jacked up insurance premiums for millions more." "Or we could deliver affordable child care for every American family." "Or we could undo Republicans' cuts to food assistance for families." "Or we could put a stop to Trump's across-the-board tariffs." "Or we could end Donald Trump's war with Iran." "And look, the list goes on and on," she said. "But nowhere on the list of ways to lower costs for American families is rubber-stamping Donald Trump's lavish ballroom. Remember, Trump's ballroom has already become a tool for what looks like corruption in plain sight. Since day one, giant corporations have lined up to dump millions of dollars into Trump's ballroom. And that includes Meta, Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Comcast, Coinbase, and Palantir. And those are just the people and the entities that we know of." "Others are being kept secret from the American people because Donald Trump has let them stay anonymous," Warren continued. "So what do they have to hide? And what are all these donors expecting in return? And by the way, if Congress bankrolls this ballroom for Trump's corporate donors, like other Republicans are proposing, what happens to all those private donations? If Trump is using his ballroom to facilitate a giant pay-to-play scheme, then the American people deserve to know." "Instead of dumping even more money into Trump's golden ballroom, we need to put an end to this corruption and focus on lowering costs for American families," she added. "That's what Democrats are laser-focused on. Republicans should join us and get it done!" Bravo Senator Warren! We refuse to pay for Trump's ballroom and will vote against ANYONE who supports it! Please ❤️ and share to thank Elizabeth Warren.

BREAKING: Combat veteran Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth TORCHES "incompetent fool" Pete Hegseth for targeting the brave women serving in our U.S. military. She gave her legs for this country. Hegseth has given nothing... "Well, Pete Hegseth is an incompetent fool," Duckworth said on MS NOW. "He is a misogynist, and he's been trying to get rid of women's role in our military. He obviously must have lost out a promotion to a female service member at some point, and is, you know, on a personal vendetta." Not only is the Secretary of Defense an avowed misogynist, he's an alleged rapist just like his boss Donald Trump. These men despise women. "But bottom line, in the testimony, he said, we are doing this to the highest male standard, as if there were only two standards in the military," Duckworth continued. "And in fact, the physical fitness standards are actually graduated based on age as well. So a 40-year-old serviceman does not have to run the two miles as fast as an 18-year-old serviceman." "So it is also differentiated by age as well as by gender," she explained. "And frankly, you know, as someone who served in a combat arms branch, and I volunteered to serve in the first combat arms branch that actually accepted women into combat roles, which is as a helicopter pilot, you know, I know what the experience is. I know that our women who have met those standards have met the standards." Duckworth lost her legs in Iraq in 2004 when the helicopter she was co-piloting was struck by a rocket-propelled grenade. Her arm was also damaged in the attack. This woman has given more for this country that Hegseth will ever comprehend. "They're doing their jobs," she continued. "They are actually out there participating and taking care of the business at hand. And frankly, our nation's military could not go to war without its female service members." "And yet Pete Hegseth is on this personal vendetta," she added. "In fact, he's fired every female four-star general and tried to stop the additional promotion of two African-American women generals from getting additional stars. And that's why, you know, the former Army Chief of Staff quit." Tammy Duckworth is the kind of public servant that America needs and deserves. She's a veteran, a mother, and a staunch advocate for the American people. Hegseth is a drunk, a war criminal, and a sexual predator. The choice here is easy. Please ❤️ and share if you support Tammy Duckworth!

A Supreme Court so fundamentally hostile to the rights of minority voters places the Court at odds with democracy itself. This is the legacy of Chief Justice John Roberts. I opposed his nomination back in 2005, and I stand by that.
