I didn't see your first comment, so you get a double reply lol (the context in your second part makes a lot more sense now) I love a good dynasty! MV doesn't bother me as a KS outsider because they do it within their enrollment. Much like how Jenks/Union does it in OK or a Carl Albert, same thing (I have no MO references, sorry). It does bother me when you get to dictate your enrollment and drop a classification. Now, do I think it was done intentionally? No, but it's a bonus. Andover Central (and Cheney since they were mentioned) have to play with what they have.

No where did I say for football. No where did I say for athletics. I just said they can control their enrollment. There's a reason why Berean Academy—a school in my coverage area—is so small. It's what they prefer. I never said it had anything to do with athletics. You assumed. You also implied I said they did it intentionally when I said I didn't think they did. Private schools can dictate their enrollment. There's a handful of private schools who take advantage of being private. 90% don't. That's why I liked the multiplier. Most weren't effected. I also think its' wild that KSHSAA, which is not a government entity, is tied to our state legislature, so we'll probably not see anything really done.
