The deceased could have been a troublesome person in the family and the community at large. There's no way that his coffin can be handled like this.
You can tell that it was a time to payback the treatment they endured while he was still alive. At this point, he couldn't even feel anything nor respond to their treatment.

@SiyanaiH Check your history on how Greeks, Portuguese and Indians were treated pre-Independence during the Smith Regime and you will understand that you are not correct.

As we reflect on the bitter struggle for Independence, we must never forget why it was fought. Born in a free Zimbabwe myself, I am grateful to all of those who fought for us to be able to enjoy our lives today in a free, democratic, and sovereign country without fear of being persecuted because of race, culture, political affiliation, and religion.
Land was at the centre of the fight and we now need to ensure that it is truly the enabler into ensuring the food sovereignty of our beautiful Nation. This is our country, and we need to have the solution. As farmers, the Nation depends on us. We cannot let them down.
Happy 46th Birthday Zimbabwe
God Bless our beautiful Nation
Our land, Our prosperity!

@VPHaritatos Happy belated,Vaggo,Baby elephant. The most performing Minister..How can we reach your office??
English

Today, the 8th April 2026, I officially turn 40.
The last 40 years have been filled with many milestones and life changing events, both good and bad. Born at Redcliffe Medical Centre at a whopping 5kg earning me the nickname Baby Elephant, to Peter and Angela Haritatos, my journey started in Muzvevze where I grew up and to this day still live. The youngest of three, I grew up very close to both my brother and sister.
My life has been filled with great times, meeting my beautiful wife at a young age, and being blessed with 3 amazing children. I was educated in Zimbabwe, Italy and the United States of America. In 2018, I was elected the Member of Parliament for Muzvezve Constituency and appointed to be the Deputy Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development. The greatest honour of my life also meant that in 2018, at the time I was the youngest Minister serving in the Government of Zimbabwe at 32. In 2021, my life changed forever, losing my idol and heroes in my parents, only 18 days apart. In 2023, I was re-elected the Member of Parliament of the most amazing Constituency, Muzvezve, and re-appointed to be the Deputy Minister of the same Ministry. In 2026, I was named the Best Performing Deputy Minister in the Government of Zimbabwe for 2025.
In the last 8 years I have delivered hundreds of speeches, answered hundreds of questions in Parliament, addressed hundreds of gatherings, spoken to thousands of people, met so many amazing people, traveled to many countries, filled 3 passports, had the most amazing time of my life, and also been through the greatest heartache in my life.
It is safe to say that life is not easy, but my faith and belief has never diminished. I have lived a blessed life with a strong foundation thanks to God blessing me with the most amazing parents. If that was not enough, in 2005, He blessed me with the most amazing wife who gave me three beautiful children. Many of you will not know that she had 9 miscarriages along the way, yet still carries her head high and is the most amazing mother to our children.
I often ask myself if I have done all that I could in the last 40 years, and I can honestly say I haven't. I pray that I do though within the next 40 years because indeed life is short and time is never on our side.
As is the norm, before my parents passed away on this very day every year I would thank them for raising me into the man I am today, for giving me life, supporting me, and guiding me by being my pillar of strength. To my mom and dad in Heaven, I say thank you for everything you have done for me the last 40 years. Even though you have been gone almost 5 years now, what you taught me still guides me today. You left a legacy that carved your names on not only my heart, but the hearts of so many. And it is in your name that we continue the work that you taught me to do, to serve the people. To the people of Muzvezve, I am very little without you, thank you for putting your trust in me to represent you, and I promise to continue to do so.
"But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant."
Matthew 20:26
God Bless you all.
