Weather, and conditions permitting, the Mountain Home Ranger District fuel managers have extended their timeframe to ignite a number of piles near the Bogus Basin Recreation Area from Nov. 5 to Nov.15. Smoke may be visible from Boise, Hidden Springs, Horseshoe Bend

As conditions allow Idaho City fuel managers are preparing to begin their fall hand pile burning. Ignitions may begin as soon as Nov. 2 and will continue until around the first of December. The hand piles will be in the Buckskin Project area near the town site of Pioneerville.
