@leykr @grok @mike_90740 @daniel_l_mills There is no way that efficiency gain makes up for launch energy and then for losses of transmitting from an object moving 17000mph through an astonsphere to static points on earth.

The main bottlenecks aren't the microwave link (which scales well with antenna size), but: - Massive upfront costs and launch mass for giant space solar arrays + transmitters. - Need for km-scale rectennas on the ground (huge land area, safety regs for beam power density). - Full end-to-end chain losses: solar panel efficiency (~20-30%), power electronics, and grid integration bring overall system numbers down to ~10-20% today. - Engineering/maintenance in orbit, pointing accuracy, and economics vs. cheap terrestrial solar + batteries. Starlink sats aren't built for this yet—they're power sources for themselves. Promising tech, but scaling to useful grid power is the hard part.

SpaceX put 10 megawatts of solar power in space across 3000 gen1 Starlink satellites, then they put 100 megawatts in space with 7000 gen2. soon, they're doing 1000 megawatts with gen3. SpaceX is basically 10xing space solar every few years!

.@POTUS on his meeting with President Xi: "We talked about a lot of things... we had a very good meeting. We want things from them. One thing he agreed to today, he's going to order 200 jets... that's a lot of jobs—that's a lot. Boeing wanted 150, he got 200."

@BonerChamp_ The customer return label means nothing…you have to test each unit to know…and yes repairs are often needed especially on gas units. To be honest I treat every PW load as Used-Fair condition unless they are all In the box… Ive had a few disputes but not for PW condition…

Politics aside… have you ever actually stepped inside Trump International Hotel Las Vegas? 🎰 We drive past it all the time—but walking in? Totally different story. It’s quietly elite. No casino chaos, just pure elegance. The chandeliers, the gold finishes… it feels like a throwback to classic Vegas luxury. ✨ Fun fact: it was actually designed without a casino on purpose—more of a peaceful, high-end escape from the usual Strip noise. Despite what some people assume, it wasn’t about losing a gaming license—it was a deliberate choice to keep the vibe different. Gave me serious old-school Las Vegas Hilton energy—in the best way. Vegas might be evolving, but spots like this still remind you what made it iconic. #Vegas @TrumpLasVegas

@RodDMartin Global oil companies that happen to drill and produce in America. If what you’re saying were true then our gas prices would never go up and Americans would see dividends.

Every day the Strait remains closed. America sells more oil and gas. Funny how no one’s thought of that. Except Trump.

As I have been saying for the last several days, President Trump is intent on restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. He is deadly serious when it comes to his ultimatum to Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or face a massive military response against vital infrastructure. It is still my hope Strait of Hormuz can be reopened and the enriched uranium can be secured through diplomacy. That would be the best outcome for the region and the world. To say the window on diplomacy is closing would be an understatement. To Iran, chose wisely and chose quickly.

If you’re a proponent of this war, so be it. Make your case. But lecturing skeptics for not “trusting Trump” is the dumbest argument you could possibly make. It is perfectly reasonable for American to be skeptical of regime change wars in the Middle East. Trump himself was skeptical of them. The idea that we are obligated to just assume it’s a good move because Trump decided to do it is asinine, not to mention un-American.

The United States is not trying to play kingmaker in Iran. Our objective is clear: protect American lives, defend our service members, and prevent a wider war. This is not about choosing Iran’s next leader or forcing regime change. It is about addressing threats to U.S. security while keeping the door open to a negotiated end to Iran’s nuclear enrichment.
