I was told by a social worker yesterday that care is "nuanced" & of course some children won't get loving care, but that's the reality. I bet they said that about my brother & me when we were dumped in an abusive children's home for years because nobody would take a black kid

Ive been re-reading the original Frontline and Think Ahead proposal reports today (cause I am a sadist). The elitist and exclusionary language is really sickening. Whatever your thoughts about where these organisations are today, their foundations are far from social work values.
