@PhilipArdagh The Magician's Nephew always - the Wood Between the Worlds blew my nine year old mind...my tummy lurched with theirs when they realised they nearly didn't mark which pool led back to our world...and the crumbling of an old world is described so vividly. Proper sci-fi!
