今日は映画『フロム・ビヨンド』を鑑賞。 原作はラヴクラフトの短編『彼方より』（原題 From Beyond）。 別の世界とこの世をつなぐ装置を作ったせいで、博士も助手も、まわりの人間も、身も心もぬらぬらと狂っていく。 機械をつくった博士は、すっかり向こう側に適応してウキウキルンルンの化け物と化してしまうし、女性精神科医はなぜかエロSM嬢に変身するし、助手のおでこからは肥大化した松果体がちん〇んみたいに生えてくる。 まさに阿鼻叫喚のヌメヌメ絵巻。 製作は、低予算でありながらSFホラーの傑作を採算度外視で作りまくって一度は倒産した映画会社エンパイア・ピクチャーズ。 監督は、みんな大好き鬼才スチュアート・ゴードン。 大好きな映画のひとつです。 (*´◇｀*)
