The left is back to glorifying John Brown That's important. It shows what they want to do. For who, after all, was John Brown? He rose to fame by butchering settlers suspected of pro-slavery feelings in front of their families Then he tried starting a race war in Virginia, one he fully expected and hoped would follow the path of the Haitian white genocide, by raiding Harper's Ferry. While there he and his gang murdered a few innocent people, robbed George Washington's great-grandnephew, and caused chaos before being killed or captured. Throughout it all, he was funded by a coterie of primarily Boston-based oligarchs abolitionish who loved the terror he was inflicting upon the South in the name of racial egalitarianism. They and their cohort then defended and wildly cheered him as he faced a treason trial for his attempt at spawning a race war, and many Southerners like Lee who chose secession over their better judgment did so because they feared the Unionist side would inflict upon their beloved homes what John Brown had wanted to The left has a history of championing him, not only during those dismal final years before the war and during the war itself, with the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" just a version of the horrid song "John Brown's body", but in modern times as well. A century later, for example, the Weather Underground self-consciously saw themselves as following in the tradition of John Brown as they blew up skyscrapers and tried to murder cops in the name of helping the Black Panthers and the Black Liberation Army, both of which were also violent terror groups that wanted to effect a Third Worldist Revolution. As the Weathermen and their black terror group allies did so, they were supported by a constellation of wealthy leftists, high-powered leftist lawyers, non-profits, and the like: the "Secret Six" of the John Brown days were back, and they were far more numerous than that. Further, they, like Garrison and his "Liberator" magazine, had a century before, used the leftist press to push an anti-white message that glorified the murderous revolutionaries But they never faced justice. Carter was on their side and Reagan lacked the spine to hang them. So, they effectively won. They went on to teach, influence, and support the next generation of radical leftist terrorists. Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers were Obama's political mentors, after all. Chesa Boudin is the son of a convicted murderer (who was of course released from prison) named Kathy Boudin, and Chesa is one of the leading figures in the pro-crime Wren Collective that turned our cities to ash. Now those same sorts are aiding in the terrorizing of our cities and resistance to ICE and other lawful authorities, while also plotting doing to us what John Brown and his fellow butchers did to the Doyle family and tried to do to Virginia. So now we have Antifa, John Brown Gun Clubs, and the like. They think they should act in the tradition of John Brown and murder random white people to spark a racial Ragnarok, and they are backed by NGOs, non-profits, oligarchs like Soros, and all the rest. Further, they think that they, like the Weathermen, will face no real consequences for doing so. Hence the pearl clutching now that a few of them have been shot All that has to end. They must be crushed. They must face terrorism charges. Their networks must be obliterated, their backers arrested and wealth confiscated, and the earth behind them salted. This cancer cannot be allowed to metastasize again. They should all face the same fate as John Brown.

Japan spent 17 years developing its premium “Red Princess” citrus, priced at ¥500 each. Just months after launch, Chinese sellers flooded Taobao with stolen saplings grown in China. When confronted, one Chinese farmer smirked on camera: “Don’t you also hope that Chinese people can eat delicious fruit? Ehime farmers and officials are left heartbroken and powerless.

@SuHanGardian @normal_regimiro It’s a victim mentality, they feel they need to justify their hatred so they make out that they’re being persecuted in favour of immigrants. There’s a whole list of reasons that’s obviously not true but what can you do I suppose

Um... cultural hegemony is what capitalism does. It controls the concepts by controlling academia and the media. Gramsci was critiquing capitalism, not making a plan for "commies"
Rothmus 🏴@Rothmus

Commies never needed to beat you in a debate, just needed to make sure the debate never happened on open ground. Gramsci (Italian Marxist) called it cultural hegemony and the war of position. The goal is for commies to take the institutions that shape what people believe, such as the schools, the universities, the media, and entertainment. The purpose is to install the ideology so deep that it stops looking like an opinion and starts feeling like common sense or the natural order of things. People absorb it before they’re old enough to question it, and most of them never even realize an argument took place. And once those institutions are quietly under control, politics inevitably follows on its own. Their patient and steady capture replace elections and honest persuasion. But the thing is that people see it. Gallup measured trust in American media in September 2025 at 28%, the lowest number in the entire 50 year history of the poll, down from 72% in 1976. For the first time, more Americans say they distrust the media outright than trust it at all. So the institutions are captured, they’re manufacturing consent, but they’re not omnipotent. And as long as at least some people still distrust, they still have a fighting chance to alter, evade, or abolish these infected institutions.
