We just presented at YC S25 Demo Day today. Honestly the energy is insane - I now at the end of the YC batch understand why everyone says SF is the place to be if you're building a tech company or really any company... Met so many incredibly smart and successful people today and we haven't even stepped on stage to present yet. Got on the TBPN Livestream. Tons of buzz around our costumes. Ideas on what to build next and the opportunities that will open up. Everything is just crazy. The craziest thing is we almost said no to YC because we had good traction before the batch but honestly the hype, energy, benefits, people that come with doing YC is unmatched and inconceivable until you live it. Thank you Andrew Miklas for convincing us. If you want to a start a company I cannot recommend enough applying to YC - best decision we've made in a while for sure. It's wraps on the batch. This post is an underrepresentation of the energy we are feeling right now and there is no way I can tag everyone that was a part of the journey during the batch but thank you to everyone. 100% would do this again. I refuse to pay retainers to affiliates I know that’s an unpopular opinion in the influencer space right now, but I’ve seen it fail too many times It almost always ends up feeling one-sided Instead, I do something that actually makes the creator more money I pay a significantly higher commission Why? Because it forces a true win-win relationship If a product isn’t selling for an affiliate, they shouldn’t be bound to it And I shouldn’t be bound to them But when we align our incentives, magic happens We tell our partners exactly what is hot right now When they win, we win No retainers required

Today is a very special day for myself and our team at SCC. I won't say who it is because I haven't been asked his permission yet hahahha, ...but somebody that I have long-term respected and absolutely loved their brand are launching their first blitz with our team at Social Commerce Club today. ...And already scaling like crazy! Laying the foundation for what will be an insane 2026 on TikTok Shop! Man, oh man, do I ever love the position that we are in and what we get to do at Social Commerce Club! That's all!

The @Caltrain NEEDS to invest in @Starlink on board. The internet is usually slow and unstable which turns my frequent 2 hour+ per day commute much less productive than it could/should be.

I get over 150 to 200 messages a day across Slack, WhatsApp, iMessage, Lark, email, Telegram, Discord, and a few other places. Does anybody else have this problem and how do you respond to so many messages every day?

Guys, SF is a magical city. Today, a beautiful Wednesday, I had a 4:30pm meeting with a friend at a café… it was closed. We walked 10 blocks, every café was closed. Finally found Blue Bottle, it closed at 5:30. Can some YC company please build what SF people actually want?
