@Chaoxfhy No way Dijisiktra dies like that, I hope he returns in the Witcher 4 and it's shown that the Dijikstra that dies was a Doppler or something, they can't do an iconic character that dirty.

Reasons of State Questline. I can name a dozen more problems I have with this game. Yet its still my Top 1 game for 11 years straight.

@cmhnd35 Haha, thanks bud. I just feel it's very much in line with the nature of the Books. Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri. All fighting their own battles but yet connected by destiny but never together at peace as a family.

Şimdi Songs of the Past genişleme paketi Geralt'ın son macerası olacak ve Witcher 4'e bağlanıp dizginleri Ciri ele alacak bunu biliyoruz. Sonradan ipucu olarak Belleteyn festivali görselini verdiler bize. Benim teorim şöyle ; 📌 Ciri'nin Witcher 4 sinematik fragmanında artık ismen değil gerçek bir witcher olduğuna şahit olmuştuk. Çünkü karşısındaki yaratıkla savaşmak için iksir içiyor, damarları çıkıyordu. Yani Ciri ot sınavına giriyor ve belli ki mutasyona uğruyor. Büyük ihtimalle bu ölümcül işlemin bedeli içindeki kadim kan gücünü kaybetmek oluyor. Zaten zamanın ve mekanın hanımı olarak uçup kaçsaydı mantıken witcher oyunu olmazdı. Temeli bu şekilde oturtacakları çok bariz. 📌 Fakat Ciri'ye bu geri dönülemez kararı aldıran neydi ? Bence yeni eklenti paketi bu konuyu işleyecek. Benim tahminim Geralt'a ya da başka önemli birine (belki Yennefer) bir şey oluyor. Ama kadim kan gücü bir şekilde gidiyor ve o yolla sevdiğini kurtaramayacağını anlıyor. Bu görselde gösterilen yaratık da olabilir. Belki Belleteyn'de var olan kadim sihir gücüne sahip antik bir yaratık. Çünkü Belleteyn ve Saovin gecelerinde havada sihir çok yoğun olur ve olağanüstü olaylar gerçekleşir. Kitapta efsanelerde geçen Banshee Saovin ya da Midinvaerne gecesinde gözüküyordu mesela belki kapakta Geralt'ın arkasında gözüken Banshee'dir kim bilir. 📌 Teorime göre kadim gücünü kullanamayan Ciri bu yaratıkla baş etmek için gerçek bir witcher olmaya karar veriyor. Ben önceleri bu ot sınavı ve Ciri'nin witcher olma kararını Witcher 4'te flashbacklerle görürüz demiştim ama bu son bilgiler ışığında bu olaylar yeni genişleme paketinde işlenebilir. 📌 Tabii ki bunlar eksik bilgiler ışığında kafa patlatmaca, olasılıklar ve teoriler. Bambaşka şeyler de görebiliriz. Farklı fikirleri olan yorumlara yazabilir.

Okay new things here! The Pink stars are Ciri since “The Lion Cubs fate is penned in the stars.” I think all the pink color is supposed to represent Ciri now. I thought it was at first a the shape of a monster (sorry Yen 😂 ) but now believe it’s Yennefer. Yesterday we all couldn’t stop reading the comments on the announcement. The love this community has for The Witcher 3 is totally overwhelming, even over a decade after the original release.

Here’s my thoughts on The Witcher 3’s “Songs of the Past” Expansion and what it means for the franchise: - Geralt is carrying 3 swords, signifying this is the third expansion - The sword Geralt is carrying is 100% Ciri’s new sword, as seen in The Witcher 4’s trailer, an identical model. Confirming she plays a major role in this. - The mummified tree man could be a major character, he seems to have branches that are styled shackles attached to him - The title “Songs of the Past” to me implies a connection to something from either Geralt or Ciri’s past, coming back to haunt them in some way? - CDPR has raised the minimum system requirements for this expansion and mentioned engine updates, so its likely we’ll see a graphical bump with this DLC. - The game’s storage requirement went up from 50GB to 70GB, meaning the new content will take up 20GB. This is not a small DLC in any way. - I do think that Geralt carrying Ciri’s sword signifies that she obviously plays a huge role in this DLC, maybe Geralt is looking for her in this new place that is ruled by the man shackled by the trees. Someone tied to Geralt or Ciri’s past, or both of them. - It’s safe to assume this directly leads into Witcher 4, so we could see why or how Ciri decided to become a Witcher by taking the mutations, it’s also very likely going to be used as a way to explain how each ending’s Ciri gets to that Witcher 4 entry point, without needing to carry over your choices through a save into TW4 - This will likely be the final time we play as Geralt of Rivia in a Witcher game, so let’s enjoy it while it lasts! - It’s not coming to the Nintendo Switch, making a new TW3 Switch 2 port very likely coming at some point Songs of the Past is a new gen exclusive expansion, it will take advantage of a lot of new tech for sure and feel much more technically advanced than anything from the base game. They confirmed we’ll see more of it in the summer ahead of the 2027 release which is hopefully early in the year. Let me know your own thoughts in the replies, I wanna know what your ideas are too!

@cmhnd35 YOU HIT THE BULLSEYE. I thought the same when I saw the title of the expansion. It would be a beautiful way for Geralt to pass the torch to Ciri for Witcher 4 and hang the boots. Given in the books she's always considered herself a witcher girl. They could show that part too.

@RetiredGeralt @ok_599907 I'm pretty sure many of the stories from The Last Wish will presented. I have a feeling that Geralt and Ciri's first encounter in the forest maybe repeated at the end to set the stage for Witcher 4. What are your thoughts?
