What’s so annoying is save for like 10 minutes around 2014, it was clear this would be the case. Meta is building a data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming that would use more electricity than every home in the state. Amazon is building one in Indiana that would use as much as electricity as half the homes in the state. This chart is about to get steeper.
