Mark my words: We are at the edge of a cliff. The reason why oil prices haven't went up more is because of the huge strategic reserves, many rich countries like Japan, China and USA hold. But the reserves don't last forever. In past few weeks USA has been concentrating massive amount of fire power to the Middle East. Cargo planes have been tracked to fly to US bases in the region and Israel. They are most likely full of weapons - and not just air defense missiles. USA has also been moving their elite marine units from East Asia to the Middle East. I feel this brittle cease fire could evaporate at any moment, with USA & Israel once again striking Iran hard. Iran would of course retaliate, especially if its critical infra gets blown up, it will do the same for those countries which act as launch pads against it - namely UAE, but also Saudi Arabia will likely be hit (but to a lesser degree). This could very well be a long & difficult war, which will sink most of the global economy. Trump and Israel want total capitulation from Iran and Iran wants to survive and have its key demands met, which include keeping its drone & missile arsenal and get war reparations and control of strait of Hormuz. Nominal prices - including stock market and people's salaries - might actually go up, but their purchasing power goes down. Of course they will be winner as well e.g. Norway or American oil and gas companies will rack up record profits. Same for weapon's manufacturers. Average consumer will lose big time. I expect large price increases in the following: - oil & gas - fertilizers - food - electronics, especially most advanced computer chips - weapons, especially missiles, but also advanced radar systems The latter two will also face serious delays. E.g. order a weapon system now and get it perhaps in late 2030s. Or order a computer hardware now and get it - I don't know when. Many other categories, not listed above, e.g. plastics, paint, medicine etc. will also be affected. If you don't like this, you can sent your "thank you" letter to Bibi and Donald - the masterminds behind this.

At the same time, inflation-adjusted wealth of the top 0.01% and 0.1% has surged +2,200% and +1,200%, respectively. By comparison, the average household has seen just a +200% increase. As a result, there are now ~430,000 households worth $30 million or more, with ~74,000 worth over $100 million. Meanwhile, ~72% of wealth for the top 0.1% is concentrated in corporate equities, mutual funds, and private businesses. To put this into perspective, the bottom 50% of US households had more debt than assets for nearly 2 decades, with their average wealth turning positive after the 2020 pandemic, following stimulus checks and growing home values. Asset owners are the only winners.

As capitalism becomes more monopolistic, it tends to merge with the machinery of government till the distinction between the two becomes increasingly indistinct. This condition already observable in certain large administrative-technological complexes, e.g. Google, Face, Amazon, & the research apparatus of DARPA, in which the categories of state & private enterprise appear to have become largely interchangeable. What is likely to emerge is a form of "socialism" administered not by the proletariat in the classical sense, but by monopolistic capitalists as a class operating through state mechanisms. Mr. Marx, in this limited respect, was correct in anticipating convergence, though mistaken as to its agent & timing. His principal error was to assume that intervention by the workers would occur before consolidation was complete.

In fact the very smartest people are often autistic, perhaps sex-deprive as women tend to avoid them due obvious lack of basic social skills and perhaps even lack of personal hygiene. A VERY intelligent guy I knew fell for the most obvious Indian sexcam scam. An Indian guy with hot female fake profile pic rizzed him up on LinkedIn and baited him into webcam sex, and then screenshotted him jacking off to a pre-recorded striptease video. And then the Indian dude blackmailed him with it and threatened to send his jacking off nudes to all his LinkedIn connections. I'm telling y'all: Even the smartest guys have easily exploitable weaknesses. Every man has a certain button in their hearts that, when pressed, temporarily lobotomizes them. Unlike his ancient counterparts, the modern wage-labourer is denied the trifling comforts of free land, free housing, & free food. The harshest forms of ancient slavery——backbreaking labour, corporal punishment——were mostly reserved for prisoners of war, criminals, or those captured in raids.
