La voix qui les annonce utilise un accent très fort de Français de la France, presque comiquement exagérer. Nous les canadiens devraient être fières de nos langues et la manière dont on les a adapté en une forme uniquement Canadien.

We Canadians should be proud of our languages and how we have adapted both of them into a uniquely Canadian style. Any half decent AI system could produce the Eglinton station announcements in proper Canadian language (both of them) at minimal cost.

Hello councillor matlow! A quick comment on the eglinton lrt french announcements. The voice announcing them is in a very very European France-french accent (almost comically so).

@PTBwrites soccer's the ideal sport for families, to play don't need to spend much on equipment and to watch tickets are fairly cheap. fifa's killing this, I'll be lucky to get 2 tickets in the lottery at any price.

It's not like I'm naïve - I get that global sports is a business and ticket prices will be what the market will bear. (Though, as this year's Club World Cup showed, sometimes the market won't.) It's that I hope the organizers try, wherever possible, to include kids+families
