How fast is your 5K? • 12–14 min = Olympic-level • 14–18 min = Elite • 18–22 min = Competitive • 22–25 min = Average • 25–30 min = Fit enough • 30–40 min = Beginner Over 40? You’re out there trying. And honestly… that counts more than people admit. Most people won’t even test themselves over 5K. They’ll stay comfortable and never find out. You did. That already puts you in a different group.

If your heart rate gets over 100bpm when you walk, the biggest game changer for your running will be more walking. Long walks. I’ve gotten over a dozen DMs of people telling me their running did in fact improve from just walking a lot more. Heart rate of 70-80bpm while walking? It’s still great, but won’t move the needle on your fitness like running will. If your heart rate is much higher, then walking is the lowest hanging fruit available.

@JohnGoldman 50 miles a week is no big deal. that’s most likely less than 8 hours a week of movement. not really a big deal if you’re otherwise sedentary. 21k on a sunday is less than 2 hours for a moderately conditioned runner. that’s about the length of a long gym session.

RUNFLATION is ruining people’s sense of normal. It is NOT NORMAL to run a half marathon or more every weekend!

Ordinarily I choose not to directly name those mentioned in the Epstein files unless I am certain of the information contained within. Eg. If it is pointed out that a sexual abuse act took place we can cross reference much of that information. We can check dates, location of that suspect, police records and phone records. We can then cross reference to give a probability of whether or not those accusations are accurate. Taking all of the above into consideration I am publicly calling out former Prime Minister Gordon Brown as a sexual abuser of under aged children. I am also calling for a joint police investigation between the Metropolitan Police and Police Scotland into the activities of this charlatan against the innocent children of the United Kingdom. This is the first time I have ever had to contact my solicitors before writing a post online. I will not take back a single word that I have said. #EpsteinFiles
