Fellow Zimbabweans,I have received credible reports that Mnangagwa has departed the country nicodemously under cover of darkness and without any public notice travelling first to Russia and then onward to Belarus. What is most disturbing is that there was no usual airport send-off ritual. No Cabinet Ministers, no Service Chiefs, no diplomatic corps, and none of the traditional ceremonial pomp that has always accompanied a presidential departure. Instead, the President’s spokesperson has issued a terse statement describing the event as nothing more than a routine “handover-takeover of the presidency” from the President to the Acting President. This is highly irregular and raises serious questions about transparency and the true state of the nation’s leadership. A Head of State does not slip out of the country in secrecy and then have his spokesperson call it a simple administrative handover. As a retired senior officer who has served this nation with honour and loyalty, I am watching these developments very closely. The people of Zimbabwe deserve the truth. National stability and constitutional order must never be treated as matters of convenience or hidden manoeuvres.I call upon the Acting President and all relevant institutions to immediately clarify the President’s whereabouts, the purpose of this unannounced trip, and the exact nature of this so-called “handover-takeover.” Retired Lieutenant General Winston Sigauke.

Hello Crime Watch. Pliz hide ID. On Tuesday night, around 10pm, I went down paFlat pangu Castel Court just by Total Garage located along Samora Machel Avenue, Harare CBD. Pane food court so I wanted to buy food. While I was inside the food outlet, I was approached by ZRP officers who then force marched me into a police truck that was parked outside. I kept on asking what mhosva yangu was but ndai haraswa and they ended up physically assauIting me. I was thrown in one of the cells at Harare Central and I spent the whole night. I was only released on Wednesday at around 7pm after being made to sign an admission of guilt form for public drinking and made to pay a fine of US$60 but on the receipt they wrote 378 ZiG. The night I was arrested, I was not even drinking when they arrested me.. I'm so so hurt. Is this what Zimbabwe has become. I now hate the police zvekutodaro. @PoliceZimbabwe
