Gavin Newsom just said in an interview that Elon Musk is a huge disappointment for "ceding the EV space to China." Newsom called China's expansion in the EV market a national security issue and said that he really fears it. Newsom is such a fraud. During the pandemic Newsom awarded a one billion dollar, no bid contract to China EV manufacturer BYD to make masks, even though the company had never manufactured masks or any health care supplies before. Newsom even paid them $500 million up front to help them get started before ultimately extending the contract past a billion dollars. In 2023 Newsom flew to China and met with BYD to discuss bringing their cars into the states. Newsom: "We've got to get these in the states."

California lawmakers will take off for Spring Break today without giving taxpayers the update promised on the cost of Capitol Annex Project. The two lawmakers in charge of the project have failed to follow through with their vow to be more transparent. kcra.com/article/capito…

.@SenatorDurbin, my daughter died in a system shaped by policies you continue to defend. You chose sanctuary policies that give special privileges to those here illegally, while law-abiding Illinois citizens like my family are left unprotected. That’s not compassion. That’s a failure of leadership. Your north star isn’t public safety, it’s ideology. And it’s an ideology with no guardrails, where political priorities come before the lives of the people you were elected to serve. You had the chance to show basic humanity, to acknowledge Katie’s life and death, as other senators in your own party did. Instead, silence. Not a call, not a statement, not even basic human acknowledgment. Silence in the face of tragedy isn’t neutrality. It’s indifference. Illinois families deserve better than leaders who look away when the consequences don’t fit their narrative. You’re retiring, but for many of us, that comes 30 years too late. And whoever you choose to endorse should be rejected just as quickly, because Illinois cannot afford more of the same.

It is my sincere hope that the next time millionaire democrat blowhole Jimmy Kimmel’s toilet explodes, the decent hardworking American plumbers will refuse to fix it, so Jimmy will finally do something useful after his contract expires next month.
Libs of TikTok@libsoftiktok

Jimmy Kimmel is now insulting DHS Sec Markwayne Mullin because he used to work as a plumber. As if you couldn't hate elitist Hollywood leftists any more

BREAKING: David @friedberg says "California is functionally bankrupt" "People don't realize how screwed California is, & I worry that if California falls, so does the union. "$250 billion to $1 trillion short." "This is because for California to get rescued would be a big cost to red states, & I think it creates in the years ahead a lot of tension." "California's functional bankruptcy is a major risk to the country. & I think we need to figure out what we can change to fix it." How we got here: "California has a public pension system, & that public pension system retirees have paid into it & they get some benefits out, & the amount that they're owed back out is somewhere between $250 billion - $1 trillion dollars more than has been paid in. $250 billion to $1 trillion short. If it was the federal government, it would be like, okay, we'll just print more money. California doesn't have the ability to print money, so California has to pay this out, and you can't restructure retirement benefits. There is a Supreme Court case in California that said that once an employee has been offered retirement benefits, even if they're currently an employee, you can never restructure their retirement benefits. It has to stay forever, and the state cannot declare bankruptcy. There's no way for the state to functionally declare bankruptcy. There's no law to allow it. No state has ever declared bankruptcy, and the retirement benefits sit senior to the bonds in California. So you have to pay out the retirement benefits before you pay out all the bond holders that have loaned California the money that they use to run all their programs and services." California will be bankrupt by 2030. If you’re expecting a state pension, it is at risk. If you don’t believe it, check Grok or Gemini and explore how California politicians changed the reporting rules on your pension so they could hide how underwater it is. The middle class citizens of California will soon be asked to pay a huge price to bail out the state. Why them? Because that is where most of the wealth of California resides. It’s easy to single out “billionaires” but there aren’t many of them and they can and will all leave before the bottom falls out. They are leaving in droves already. The mismanagement in California is biblical - and the scale is huge because it’s the world’s 4th largest economy. California politicians and their henchmen are now entering the coverup phase where they can no longer hide their financial incompetence so they are taking from average California residents to try and hide what they’ve done: You will soon see ballot initiatives with fancy tiles like “billionaire tax”. But those are lies. They are mechanisms to tax everything, every way: Excise taxes Wealth taxes Private property confiscation It’s all happening now. If you want to preserve California, you will need to stand up because California has become a kleptocracy.

As of late 2025, approx. $518 - $573 million in taxpayer dollars has been spent on the CA Capital Annex Project (construction to replace the building that will house the governor and all our alleged elected leaders - it will actually include hallways and areas so our elected leaders can hide from us and the media - we are paying for that too). The total budget allocated so far by the radicals in Sacramento - $1.1 billion. Only about 50% of the construction has been completed. The radicals in Sacramento - the ones most people keep voting for - refuse to tell all the voters how much of OUR additional money will be spent on the project, what is the current status of the project and when it will be completed. Thank you Ashley for doing the job that our government should be doing - providing the voters in CA with some actual transparency.
Ashley Zavala@ZavalaA

The California lawmakers in charge of the Capitol Annex Project broke their promise to be more transparent. They refuse to hand over key cost records, stating that keeping them secret is in the public's best interest. After three rejected interview requests, I confronted them:

There are now extensive back & forth with Newsom and others in the media regarding the exposure of massive fraud here in California. Anytime someone posts on social media about the massive fraud happening here, Newsom immediately shouts back on social that “we” are arresting people and punishing fraud. Just so we are all clear, most of us here in CA have known about the fraud crisis for a long time. And, anytime I see Newsom say anything about public safety - really all you have to say is “Gascón.” Newsom brought Gascón to SF. He appointed him SF police chief. He appointed him SFDA. He supported and endorsed him when he ran for SFDA. And he supported and endorsed him when he ran for LADA - twice. When Gascón took office in LA, almost all fraud type charges were considered $0 bail. Yes. The fraudsters were all just released. This was a written policy. Any enhancements for insurance fraud, check fraud, ID theft, credit card fraud, real estate fraud, medical services fraud, etc were removed completely. Gone. Even if we could prove them. Again, a written policy. So if there were elderly or vulnerable victims, a very high monetary loss and/or multiple victims - we were NOT allowed to charge enhancements. Ever. I never saw or heard Newsom make one peep about victims of fraud or what Gascón did to LA. Not one. Gascón and Newsom also supported Prop 47. That made most check fraud a misdemeanor. Gascón and Newsom also didn’t support Prop 36. Newsom is now all over our fraud crisis in CA, almost 7 years after he has been governor, because … the media is now involved. But a leader prioritizes public safety even when the media isn’t reporting on it. Our governor is supposed to care about how crime affects working families, the elderly, vulnerable victims, children and all of us … not just how he or she looks in the public eye.

I warned Newsom that requiring schools to keep secrets from parents about the name and gender used by their child was a clear violation of federal law. He signed the bill anyway. Sure enough, it was just blocked by the Supreme Court. Parents' rights are finally being restored.
